Tweetbot has been around for over 10 years, we've always complied with the Twitter API rules. If there's some existing rule that we need to comply with, we'd be happy to do so, if possible. But we do need to know what it is... @TwitterDev, you know how to reach us.
Twitter is enforcing its long-standing API rules. That may result in some apps not working.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Currently it's all major third party clients not some. Also, it is unknown what long standing rules have been broken as no guidance has been provided to any API partner. And as the tweet notes, these rules have not changed. 9to5mac.com/2023/01/17/twi… developer.twitter.com/en/developer-t….

Why are ethics questions always like: "is it ethical to steal bread to feed your starving family?" And not: "is it ethical to hoard bread when families are starving?"

pretty fucked up that by the time you reach 40 there are basically only like five people on the planet who really understand you and they probably live in a different city

These people's whole existence is proof that we accommodate free speech to like the maximum degree and yet they're convinced they're living under a totalitarian regime because not enough people liked their posts

It's crazy how the same people complaining about how there's no free speech in this country openly talk about executing their coworkers and overthrowing the government with zero consequences whatsoever

The 2022 Lunar #Occultation of #Mars! This is a crop of a wider image, and shows the red planet on it's descent behind the eastern lunar limb captured last night from home. Sinus Gomer is central with Syrtis Major at top. See thread for processing. What an event!#astrophotography

For so long I’ve dreamt of taking a photo like this. By some miracle the clouds cleared tonight just minutes before the Mars/Moon occultation. Setting up the fastest I ever have, I was able to take this photo of an incredible celestial alignment!
