There’s that really interesting dialogue in game about how Alma and Erik differ in their views on whether Elders are just animals or something more.
I really hope that nuance is explored beyond people digging heels in and going “b-but they’re the strongest!!”

“As fire is set onto the Specter of War, the Black Flame descends on the unguarded village, to reign a nu. Tempered as its flame may be, it was not prepared for the combined might of a Hunter and a Titan.”
Godzilla v Monster Hunter Part 8
Really coming to appreciate Duramboros’ combat design. Juiciest hitbox on the hump and the only way to knock it down is KO or tripping during the spin. Didn’t realize it couldn’t topple from leg hits otherwise, really cool touch
Before this felt kinda like a pipe dream, but them showing the arena off being available right there even when Lao isn’t there..? Could possibly be the equivalent of the Wounded Hollow but for Elders
