While @SystematixGrp was preparing for its IPO in Sep-Oct, scammers quietly ran 5 fake trading apps in its name on the app stores, luring users with "IPO allocation" and "high-return block trading" schemes.
They exploit trust in app platforms and trusted financial brands.
Ad platforms have blood on their hands. They continue to prioritise revenue over trust and safety.
In 2024, 10% of Meta’s revenue came from scam ads.
The platform shows over 15 billion scam ads every single day.
And the real numbers are likely much higher.
