My take on #MedicareForAll

Every member of the adult
Jewish community across the globe should feel uncomfortable. Uncomfortable with genocide being carried out in their name.

Thank you for telling us your loyalty is with Israel. Not USA
I am disturbed by reports that businesses in Philadelphia are being targeted for boycotts because they have Jewish owners.
We are guaranteed the right to peaceful protest and to freedom of speech. It is fundamental to who we are as Americans. That includes the freedom to oppose the war in Gaza, and the actions of the Netanyahu government.
Yet we must speak clearly when confronted with blatant antisemitism. Targeting businesses simply because they are owned by Jews — and on the eve of Kristallnacht, when Nazis terrorized Jewish families, businesses and synagogues — is unacceptable.
I believe protesting in this way is harmful and misguided, and I urge the organizers to desist.

Anthony is organizing this fundraiser for his sister, who was taken by ICE. They dropped the charges and haven't released her yet, which is why this was started in August 2025. If you can't donate it would be real sweet it you retweeted or quote tweeted.
I could use your help with my fundraiser on GoFundMe. Please share, support, or donate—every small action counts. gofundme.com/f/support-natal…

Libelous bullshit from Shapiro, the Zionist...
My Administration has been in touch with local officials in Philadelphia ahead of the planned protest on Sunday that’s designed to intimidate and drive Jewish businesses out of our communities.
Hate and antisemitism have no place in our Commonwealth. And I’m grateful to state and local law enforcement who will work to make sure our neighborhoods remain safe this weekend.

even if you ignore the politics, how the fuck did AIPAC Shakur aka AIPAC Rocky aka Hakeem Jeffries, who is a total charisma void and clearly a fucking moronic idiot, rise to the level of becoming the anointed House Speaker for Democrats? Even among the centrist Zionists there are way better people just purely on basic political skills, like the ability to speak coherently. Why this fucking idiot who the moment any normal person hears him they get an overwhelming feeling of cringe and disgust?
The answer is because he is a total 100% craven tool of the ruling elites. There is no original thought in his empty mind. He's just a mercenary conduit for whatever his genocidal Zionist billionaire corporate donors want, and he's always been that and always will be that.

Larry Krasner is a schmuck. The businesses aren’t being boycotted because they’re owned by Jews but because they have ties to the ‘Israeli’ military. There is no such thing as a good DA.

What a despicable liar @GovernorShapiro is, libeling an anti-Zionist boycott so he can defend the genocidal slaughter of children and other civilians in Palestine.

The universal media lies about the Philly anti Zionist bike ride R astounding, if not unexpected. Phillybike.onyourleft ride has nothing to do with Jews. It is NOT anti-Semitic. It is a pro-Palestein bike ride singllng out Zionist businesses, many of which have supported the IDF

Jon Ossoff was 16 when he finished reading John Lewis’s memoir and wrote him a letter. He asked if he could interview him, spend some time with him, anything that would let him learn from the man whose book he had just read. He didn’t expect an answer. Lewis wrote back and invited him to work in his congressional office.
There was something about that letter Lewis would have understood. He had written one himself at 17. A college near his home in Alabama had never answered his application, and Lewis wanted to challenge its segregation. He wrote to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. without telling his parents or his teachers. King did not just write back; he sent Lewis a round-trip Greyhound ticket to Montgomery so they could talk in person.
Oh my!
The first time Lewis and Ossoff sat down for a meal, Lewis spent about an hour and a half telling him about the rabbis and Jewish activists who had marched alongside him in the South. Ossoff was a Jewish kid from Atlanta. He knew from the book what had happened to Lewis on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, where a state trooper fractured his skull during a march for voting rights. Now Lewis was telling him who had walked beside him.
The internship lasted a few months. The friendship lasted 17 years. In 2017, when Ossoff ran for Congress and lost, Lewis was there on election night. A reporter saw him sitting in a small room next to the party, looking out into the room. Later that night, Lewis came out and told the crowd how glad he was that he had answered the letter Ossoff sent him in high school.
Lewis died in July 2020, six months before Ossoff won his first Senate race. When Ossoff took the oath of office, he had copies of two old passenger lists in his jacket pocket. One recorded his great-grandfather Israel’s arrival at Ellis Island in 1911. The other recorded his great-grandmother Annie’s arrival two years later. In his hand was a book of Hebrew scripture that had belonged to Rabbi Jacob Rothschild, who led the Atlanta synagogue where Ossoff had his bar mitzvah (this is a Jewish coming-of-age milestone for a boy, usually at age 13).
In 1958, white supremacists had bombed that synagogue. Rothschild and his wife, Janice, grew close to Martin and Coretta Scott King in the years afterward. Janice lived long to see Ossoff take the oath with her late husband’s book
This week, Georgia reelected 39 year old Jon Ossoff to the United States Senate. At his victory speech in Atlanta, he thanked his wife, Alisha, and their daughters, Eva and Lila. Then he talked about a conversation he expects to have when Eva is older. He imagined her asking what he did when people were losing their health coverage and voting rights were under threat. He told the crowd what he hoped he would be able to say to her.
“The year you turned five, Georgia sent me back. Here is what we did with the time they gave us.”
Isitoshe,
After his win in Georgia, Jon Ossoff is now the prediction markets’ favorite to win the Democratic presidential nomination in 2028. He has the gift of gab and, some women are saying he is easy on the eye. But if he runs, the first test will be South Carolina, where Black voters helped turn Joe Biden’s campaign around in 2020. Ossoff will have to make his own case to those voters and when he talks about John Lewis there, he will tell them about the man who wrote back to him at 16, sat down with him over lunch, and was still in his corner the night he lost his first race.
May the day break

made by the same US State Dept that actively covered up Israeli war crimes. in other words: it’s a commitment to change nothing & keep arming Israel but this sounds bad so its presented in this chickenshit, faux universalist “why are you singling out Israel?” victim posture (2/2)
Paul Knox #MedicareForAll retweeted
This “Israel should be treated like every other country” line is a clever dodge. It has everything: flattening genocide with other human rights abuses, vaguely implies antisemitism (Free Space), avoids any normative determination & defers to a mysterious far off IHL finding (1/2)
.@jonfavs: Would you restrict weapons sales at all [to Israel]?
Shapiro: America sells weapons to lots of countries...and should those nations violate the terms of the sales, they would no longer be permitted to purchase those weapons. I think Israel should be treated as other nations are.

Both parties hate you and don’t care if you live or die.
Calley Means: “It is impossible to describe how demonic DC culture is.”
“We’re robbing the American people.”
“It’s not one party.”
“Republicans or Democrats … didn’t vote to have people that are accepting money from foreign countries.”
“Have their kids working at lobbying firms that are making tens of millions of dollars.”
“Have a centralized policy process that is entirely dictated not by voters, but by lobbyists.”
“I actually spoke to some of my friends who are top lobbyists, I’m like, is this right to you?”
“Americans are going to … rebel.”
“I’m like, why are you doing this?”
“It’s the game.”
“I have a good career, good life.”
“This is how DC works.”
“Chuck Schumer gave a speech to the hospital lobbyists two weeks ago saying, I’m going to have your back.”
“He went around to all the lobbyists saying, we’re going to help you out.”
“Every firm and every company in DC is shifting to Schumer’s former staffers or Jeffries’s former staffers.”
“This is how it works.”
“Congress and the Senate, I don’t think they’ve passed a bill in the past 20 years that’s significantly taken on special interest.”

Patrick Lawrence on Consortium News:
“As the political tide turns against the Israel lobby, AIPAC is devising ways to continue corrupting American politics now that the lights have gone on among American voters.
…
It has been evident for some time — certainly since the Zionist terror state began its genocide in Gaza three years ago last month — that taking AIPAC money has become a risky business.
It can cost a candidate an election rather than help him or her win it.
The Michigan Senate race just concluded is one of numerous cases in point. The repellent Haley Stevens ran as a full-tilt Zionist in the Democratic primary with $30 million of AIPAC dough in her account. She lost to Abdul El–Sayed, a Muslim whose platform was long on criticism of Israel’s terror.
El–Sayed went on to a 52–to–48 percent victory over Mike Rogers, a Republican well in with the Israel lobbies. How far in was by Election Day clear: Drop Site Newsreported two days before the polls (dropsitenews.com/p/mike-roge…)that two members of Rogers’ campaign staff, including his spokeswoman, are registered as foreign agents working for Israel.
As I said, wow.
Corrupting American politics has been AIPAC’s sole purpose in life since it was founded in the early 1950s. There are a lot of Mike Rogers stories in the lobby’s past. But only in the past five years has it been putting money directly into the political campaigns of those it wants to control. And now it finds it has waded in too far and made a mess of it.
As of that Oct. 21 announcement, AIPAC is effectively going into hiding.”
