Well said. The "Women couldn't work" narrative wrote off millions of poor Victorian women and children who worked and died in workhouses. Remember, there was no social safety net back then. You worked, children included, or you starved.
Do we ever stop to think if men didn’t document things in history it wouldn’t be documented at all?

Something I’ve noticed about “femosphere” podcasts is that literally all they talk about is men and relationships.
Joe Rogan, the biggest male coded podcast, is known for talking about drugs and wild animals and random shit-talk with the odd bit of spicy political stuff.
Women are ingesting absolute poison on a level equivalent with the very worst of the “Manosphere” and the asymmetry in the way each is received in polite society is so vast to be a chasm.
It takes courage to stand for something and have principles.
Unfortunately courage is not a trait we socialize a certain sex to have.
