I never understood why they wouldn't just let Banner get hurt, because wouldn't Hulk just come out? Especially like when he jumped out of the plane in Thor?

In nine years as a flight attendant, I’ve seen people do some unbelievable things at 35,000 feet. But nothing prepared me for the night a grown man decided the overhead bin was better than his business-class seat.
I’m Maya Chen, 32, a lead flight attendant based in Atlanta. I’ve worked long-haul flights for nine years, and my colleagues call me the “Mom of the Plane” because apparently keeping hundreds of adults alive while reminding them to fasten seat belts qualifies as motherhood.
I thought I’d seen everything.
I’ve dealt with emotional-support parrots, a passenger who tried to open an aircraft door because he needed fresh air, and a man who brought an entire rotisserie chicken through security.
I even have a notebook in my crew bag titled You Can’t Make This Up.
Then came Flight 412.
We were flying from Atlanta to Paris. It was around 2 a.m. over the Atlantic, the cabin was dark, and most passengers were asleep.

One of the strangest unanswered mysteries in Game of Thrones is why every Child of the Forest we saw appeared to be female.
The show revealed their ancient civilization, their connection to the creation of the White Walkers, and their desperate war for survival. Yet we never got a clear explanation of where the males were or whether the Children even had the same biological differences as humans.
Were the female Children simply the ones who survived the war? Did the show deliberately design the species this way, or was it a detail the writers never considered important enough to explain?
The darkest irony is that the Children of the Forest were already fighting for survival when they created the very monsters that would eventually threaten their existence. Their civilization was fading, their numbers were dwindling, and so much of their history remained buried beneath the roots of the weirwood trees.
We learned how the Children helped create the greatest threat to Westeros, but we never learned something as basic as why we only saw females among them. Was this intentional worldbuilding or simply an unexplored detail?

I Almost Let the Little Things Ruin My Marriage
Years ago, when our kid was still young, my wife and I were both exhausted. Money was tight, parenting was stressful, and we were dealing with the usual family drama. Nothing was seriously wrong, but all the little things were slowly wearing us down.
One day, I went into the bathroom and noticed my wife had put a new toilet paper roll on top of the empty cardboard tube instead of replacing it properly.
For some reason, that really got to me. I stood there getting angrier over something so stupid. I muttered to myself while fixing it, already bracing for a bad mood.

When I told my fiancée she could never earn more than me and still expect me to lead our marriage, she laughed and agreed—until her promotion turned our engagement into a competition neither of us knew how to stop.
I’m 32, and Olivia is 29. We’ve been together for four years and engaged for eight months. I work as a sales manager for a furniture company, while she’s an accountant at a medical equipment firm. When we met, I earned almost twice what she did, so paying most of our bills never bothered me. I liked being the person she could depend on.
The problem started when we began planning our wedding.
I wanted a traditional marriage where the husband handled the major financial responsibilities and the wife respected his decisions. Olivia never objected to that arrangement, but I made one condition clear: I wasn’t interested in a marriage where I felt like a guest in my own home because my wife had become more successful than me.
She looked up from the wedding budget and asked, “So if I start earning more than you, you’ll feel threatened?”
“That’s not what I said,” I replied. “I just believe a man should be able to provide.”
She smiled and said, “Okay, babe. We’ll see.”
I interpreted that as agreement. Looking back, I should have asked what she actually meant.
Two months later, Olivia received a promotion that came with a substantial salary increase and a company car. She was excited, and I genuinely congratulated her. We ordered takeout that night, opened a bottle of wine, and discussed what we could do with the extra money.
Then she suggested postponing the wedding for six months.
She wanted to use the money she had saved for wedding expenses to make a down payment on a house. She said we could live there after getting married and stop wasting money on rent.
I disagreed immediately.
“We already chose a venue,” I reminded her. “People have been invited. We’ve paid deposits. Why change everything now?”
“Because the house is a better investment than one expensive day,” she replied.

Gamora was never truly one of Thanos' own.
I think Gamora left Thanos when she finally realized that surviving under him didn’t mean she had to keep living by his rules. She had spent her whole life being shaped by his cruelty, but deep down, she never truly became like him. At some point, she chose to stop being his weapon.

Wanda is arguably the most powerful Avenger. But is she the most powerful woman in the MCU?
Because y’all are sleeping on Rio Vidal.
Wanda has chaos magic. Sentry has insane raw power. Thor is a literal powerhouse.
But Rio? She's Death itself.
How do you beat someone whose very existence represents the one thing every living being eventually faces?
Now imagine Rio going up against Loki, the man holding the multiverse together. 👀
Would Loki's control over the timelines be enough to stop Death herself?
And before anyone says Wanda could erase her, remember: defeating Death and killing Death are two VERY different things.
So, who's actually winning this conversation: Wanda, Rio, or someone else entirely?
