– at Barcelona, Spain

Let’s challenge straight musical theatre men to wear pants without pockets at their next cabaret performance and see how many acting choices they have remaining

Retweeting : Professional courtesy is everything - let the Actor know they didn’t get the job, let your Agent know you can’t make the audition, let the Casting Director know the self-tape won’t be sent in time, thank the Audition Pianist. Everyone deserves respect ✊ ❤️

Yesterday I had an email from an actor who is struggling. It prompted me to re-share this article. Coping in this business is hard & can feel isolating. But remember that having a bad day or feeling down is a universal experience – you are not alone #dear thestage.co.uk/advice/2018/d…

Once again, a great civic and democratic demonstration. #Catalonia is asking for #freedom. We are European citizens who just want to live in peace, free and without fear #UsVolemACasa

What do actors, musical theatre actors, TV actors, theatre actors, improv actors & any other type of actor have in common? They’re all actors. If you work in musical theatre you are an actor. Simple. Just as writers of fiction, comedy, & lazy journalists are all writers.#dear

This industry needs to shirk the sentiment that you are lucky to be a "paid performer". Acting is a REAL JOB. Not a hobby. It takes years to build up real skills and should have the right to respect, living and support the same as everyone else.
