We use multiple variations of A Skips as part of our warmup for linear speed training. We use it to reinforce mechanics and body positions for sprinting.

I can’t believe coaches buy machines. Give me 20 bench’s, 20 sets of Powerblocks, 20 18” boxes and we can train a team of 60 at once. Machines don’t make business sense. They cost too much money, take up too much space and do 1 thing. And then there’s the function argument.

Questions you should ask yourself: 1. How do you handle transition? 2. How do you handle bad news? 3. How do you handle someone else's good news? 4. How do you handle people/things that you *feel* cant help you? #dailyGROWTH

STATIC VS DYNAMIC CORE EXERCISES Developing core strength & stability enables athletes to maximize their power output & perform complex athletic movements that require coordination, balance, & technical skills. Focus on core strength can help athletes stabilize weaker areas. ⬇️

During static exercises, the muscle doesn't noticeably change the length and the affected joint doesn't move. Static core training contributes to building stability, stamina, and reduces the likelihood of straining or injury. A static exercise we like is a plank.
