🚨🎙️ José Mourinho Reacts To Manchester City’s Controversial 1–0 Defeat To Brighton!
🗣️ José Mourinho: “I watched the game, and honestly, there are things I cannot understand. Manchester City had three separate handball appeals turned down in the first half. Three! And referee Craig Pawson decided none of them deserved a penalty.
“Let's talk about the goal. Yasin Ayari scores in the 11th minute after Maxim De Cuyper's delivery, following a defensive mistake involving Matheus Nunes. Brighton take the lead and suddenly Manchester City are chasing the game.
“Erling Haaland, Jérémy Doku, Iliman Ndiaye and Phil Foden were all involved in City's attempts to find an equaliser, but Bart Verbruggen and Brighton's defence stood firm.
“Nico O'Reilly even had an opportunity in the 90th minute, but his header went wide.
“Manchester City cannot blame everything on the referee because they had opportunities to score. But when you have three handball appeals and none is given, naturally, people will ask questions.
“Congratulations to Brighton. They defended their lead, but the handball decisions will certainly be discussed.”

🚨🎙️ ROY KEANE SLAMS THE REFEREE OVER LUKA VUŠKOVIĆ’S CONTROVERSIAL HANDBALL AGAINST MANCHESTER CITY:
🗣️ “I’m struggling to understand how that is not a penalty. His arm is away from his body, the ball hits his hand, and it changes the direction of the ball. What more do the officials need to see?
“Since when did every handball have to be intentional before it becomes a penalty? The position of the arm matters. You cannot simply dismiss the incident by saying it was accidental.
“VAR takes several minutes to review it, then comes back with an explanation that leaves everyone asking more questions. That is not good enough.
“If I’m the opposing manager, I’m furious. These are huge decisions that can change a match. Managers and supporters deserve a clear explanation.
“VAR was introduced to help football, not create another controversy every weekend. We need consistency, accountability and officials who can explain their decisions.
“You cannot expect everyone to accept these decisions without questioning them.”
