YG announced on the 8th that its consolidated operating profit for the first quarter of 2026 was tentatively estimated at 19.4 billion won, a 103.9% increase compared to the same period last year.
The strong first-quarter performance was driven by sales from #BLACKPINK’s world tour and album releases last year, as well as increased merchandise (MD) sales and expanded licensing for younger IP artists (#TREASURE, #BABYMONSTER).
YG Entertainment said, “We plan to maintain our growth momentum through junior artists and new IPs, including introducing a new boy group this coming September.”
