All ready for Monday @RayLodgePrimary! I’ll continue to split my time across both Trust schools, but this year I’ll be teaching Art at Ray Lodge every Monday & Tuesday!

What a stunning showcase of creativity and individuality! The way each learner has interpreted the Mexican Folk Art inspiration in their own way is really impressive. A perfect example of how art can empower expression and celebrate identity - well done, @FarnhamGreen Year 6! 👏
…and here they are! Just a few of the brilliant masks designed, made and painted by Year 6 learners @FarnhamGreen inspired by Mexican Folk Art. I love the way they’ve each taken the original inspiration but adapted the concept to suit their own intentions and unique style!

An impressive piece of work! Great to see Y 1 pupils at FG developing their artistic skills so thoughtfully, moving from memory drawing to careful observation. Creativity & attention to detail are such important foundations; it’s fab to see them celebrated across the Trust.
Our first Artist of the Week @FarnhamGreen goes to a brilliant artist in Year One! Building on from last week when year 1 learnt to draw from memory, this week they were drawing what they see. Here you can see how well Rida has carefully observed the shape & design of the toys!
