BE WARNED! @MetaTigersNFT is a scam! I made the artwork for this project months ago, and am now blocked from the project and my art has been stolen from me. the man running this project has no plans of giving back to community and has already taken advantage of me !

NFTs are amazing tools for artists to publish and protect their work. The caveat is that @MetaTigersNFT @AdrianP18091141 and @rachayatatech think they can steal IP of artist @kimm_lindd. We trust that @Twitter and everyone will stop this IP violation.

Our @applymagicsauce software shows people what their online data says about their psychology. We thought we'd add @reddit support but there's no 'download your data' option. Pretty disappointing for such a huge site given GDPR's Right to Data Portability is a year old.

If the security vulnerabilities is completely patched and a ‘substantial’ audit has been performed, then why sharing information about the leak with the data subject takes longer than fixing the leak for @voiscooters ?! #GDPR #databreach

While #GDPR requests clear and plain language about the breach, consequences, and the measures @voiscooters share their happiness with the event and doesn’t answer the questions by parents of their customers who are #Children

@voiscooters competes a susbtantial security audit between the attack of @BR_Presse on 11/03/19 and 19/03/19! However, the questions of #datasubject about the leak take 20days with no answer yet!

@voiscooters experience a data leak #hacking by @BR_Presse that makes them ‘glad’ to address an issue before ‘a potential problem arose’ (despite the hack!) Doesn’t this manipulate users to believe this is good news?
1
The manipulative ‘good’ news about the hack that @voiscooters shares with their #children customers. #GDPR particularly insists on extra protection for children #personaldata. This is however how #accountable they can be no transparency.

Facebook decides only humans can see how those it decides can decide to show content have decided to show content, as it wants to know to which humans it has shown this. Compare @shoshanazuboff's take and Facebook's breaking of @ProPublica and @WhoTargetsMe 's ad sniffer.

You're surely aware of the GDPR €20M (or 4%) fines. Too low? #GDPR allows imposing a BAN on data processing. Think about the impact on certain companies. Sometimes would be more than 4%.

Thanks to the @EU_Competition decision, Samsung Galaxy S10 could be the first major Android phone to not come with Chrome and Google Search preinstalled. Google new licensing terms should apply to all devices activated on or after Feb 1st. theverge.com/2018/10/19/1799… cc:@jjvincent

Would you ever think that during the creation of the #Article13 of copyright directive content tagging companies were consulted. The solutions could allow tracking Internet users, and undo #ePrivacy teapaw.org/AnnemarieBridy/status/…

It is now apparently indecent to object to paying £65 for the privilege not to be deported from one’s own home. This is the cancer of nationalism and this is its normalisation
If people can’t afford, or resent paying, £65 for the right to remain in this country, their attachment to the UK is pretty flimsy

Finally! Privacy preserving maps!
We're excited to announce that maps on DuckDuckGo are now powered by Apple Maps. We are proud to be among the first global companies using MapKit JS framework, and you, dear users, get improved map results, and all still private, of course. 🙂 spreadprivacy.com/duckduckgo…

This story is amazing. Just bonkers amazing. Allegedly an NSA guy walked out with their entire arsenal of digital weapons--one that would soon be used to shut down global shipping--and, in true IRL clickbait, you will not believe what happened next. politico.com/story/2019/01/0…
