So, here’s a big shout out to all who wished to visit Walong in Arunachal Pradesh. The 64th #WalongDay Celebrations are just around the corner.
Save your dates!

To one and all who made my trip to #Walong in #Anjaw district, #ArunachalPradesh, a sojourn that I will cherish forever: a heartfelt salute to the personnel of all ranks of the #IndianArmy, across the various regiments stationed here, who made me feel completely at home. I remain forever grateful for your warmth, hospitality, and service to the nation. My spring today began on a deeply meaningful note with a solemn homage to our martyrs at #HelmetPost (may google for details). The visit to Walong was furthermore enriched by the insightful discussions with various Army personnel (Agniveer hailing from #Assam too), memorable moments, leisurely interactions, and a warm cake-cutting ceremony that made the occasion even more special. Deeply indebted to all of you.
Jai Hind! 🇮🇳🌸
N.B. Stay tuned for the 64th Walong Day Celebrations! 🎉😻

@IITHyderabad congratulates Four BTech students—Mahak Gadia (Industrial Chemistry), Raqi Mohammad (Industrial Chemistry), Udit Maini (Mechanical Engineering), and Yug Nikesh Gandhi (Engineering Physics)—working under the supervision of Dr. Ashish Kulkarni (Chemistry Department), for receiving the Excellence award at the TECO International Contest 2026 that was held in Taiwan, from August 18 to 21, 2026.
Their project, “Decarbonizing Solar Energy Through Humidity-Tolerant Perovskite Fabrication,” was selected among the Top 20 finalists from 267 applications worldwide.
The team was also the only finalist team from India, shortlisted from 15 applications submitted by different IITs.
What makes this achievement even more remarkable? While the finalist teams were primarily composed of Master’s and Ph.D. students, the IIT Hyderabad team comprised B.Tech. students, demonstrating the power of early-stage research, interdisciplinary learning, and hands-on innovation.
