Happy Birthday @GlobalGEG! 🥳 Three years ago, the Google Certified Innovator community brought together 6 educators from around the world (5 of whom had never met in person). We came together at the very start of the #Pandemic to support teachers around the world as schools shut down & we were forced to go #RemoteLearning In a very short space of time, our group grew with inspirational educators from all over joining us to support thousands of educators around the world through online training, professional development & above & beyond everything, just being a supportive group to help each other get through a very tough time. As we come to #GlobalGEG's 3rd anniversary, we've seen each other go on all sorts of journeys in our careers that we never imagined possible just 3 years ago. I want to thank every single person who has interacted with #GlobalGEG in any way, whether as a leader past or present, as a member who supported our content or simply a follower on Twitter. You all played a part in making this inspirational story possible. Above & beyond everything, I want to thank my fellow founders. Without your unbelievable efforts, none of this would have been possible! Thank you! 🥰 @mrshowell24 @StephRothEDU @pertuzluisfer @BonnieChelette @LesleighAltmann And a very special thank you also to @mayyoulee who helped to propel us to truly global heights! We miss you in the #GoogleEDU family! Fun fact: If it wasn't for Global GEG, we would have never met "The A, B, I and the D! 😎" (You can blame Stephanie!) 😜 #EdTechSmackDown Here's to Global GEG & the hundreds of GEGs worldwide continuing to support educators every day! 🥳 #EdTech #EduTwitter #GoogleEI #GoogleET #GoogleEC #SYD19 #LON19 #SEA19 #NYC19 #AWE20 #EdTechSmack #LikeMindedWackos #Family #PLN 🥰
