This isn’t only a big brand problem. Of people who use AI to research companies, 87% would at least occasionally ask a chatbot before hiring a local business. Hotel, shop, tour operator, salon: someone is asking, “Is this place legit?” right now.

Try this today: ask ChatGPT, “Is [your business] worth it? What are the downsides?” Then fix what it gets wrong: clear pricing, real reviews, “best for” and comparison pages. Not sure what it says about you? DM me “CHECK,” and I’ll run it with you.

When it does search, it looks for things that change: prices, versions, policies, new locations, whether a business has changed. Each one needs a clear, current page. If your prices live in a PDF or an Instagram post, there’s nothing to find.
