Fast payouts aren't about impatient traders. They're about firms trying to look like a broker.
On a live account you withdraw whenever you want. Every extra day a firm makes you wait is a reason to go to perps or your own broker.
The race isn't cheaper evals anymore. It's how close you can get to your own money.
Why the hell are you so obsessed with getting your payout in the minimum amount of days?
Like seriously, think about it for a second.
Most people working a normal job get paid once a month.
And you’re trying to make trading your full-time job, right?
SO WHY THE FUCK DO YOU NEED YOUR PAYOUT AFTER 5 DAYS?
You’re sitting there with 3 or 4 winning days, knowing damn well you should wait for a good setup, but instead you start forcing trades because you’re just ONE green day away from getting paid.
And guess what? You blow the account.
Trust me, I’ve been there too.
But once I stopped obsessing over getting paid in the minimum amount of days and started thinking long term, or at least on a monthly basis, things genuinely started to change.
You don’t need to rush anything.
Slow is fast in trading.
Pick one for your next eval:
Static drawdown with a DLL
Trailing drawdown with no DLL
No third option.
Genuine question to the affiliates promoting this:
Would you recommend this to your audience if you weren’t getting paid to?
I’m an affiliate too. I promote prop firms.
But there’s a difference between recommending a product you believe in and promoting something simply because the commission is attractive.
Before looking for a trading strategy, I’d start with some common sense.
If you pay $10 for $10 of drawdown, you don’t deserve to be called a trader.
A trader looks for positive expected value and exploits an edge.
Paying $10 just to get $10 of risk and then giving up 5% of your profits is the exact opposite.
