Today, I inaugurated the 18th International and 54th Annual Conference of the English Language Teachers’ Association of India (ELTAI), jointly organized by Sonapur College & Assam Royal Global University at the MP Hall of the later. Founded in 1969, ELTAI serves as India’s largest network for English educators, fostering collaboration, research, and innovation in English language teaching and learning. The association envisions transforming India into a hub for ELT activities, addressing challenges faced by teachers nationwide.
In the 21st century, with employability demands evolving, English proficiency remains crucial for developing essential soft skills, from communication to creativity. ELTAI plays a key role in leveraging this potential.
The event was attended by key representatives from @EltaiIndia , including Dr. T. Kumari Kharbamon, National President, Dr. Shravan Kumar, National Vice President, and Dr. M.S. Xavier Pradheep Singh, National Secretary. Notable dignitaries present included Y.S.R.
