"do not go gentle into that good 'knight'. old age should burn and rave at close of day. rage, rage against the dying of the light" listen to this song. this is another one of those posts. i am in flow state. listen now. i mean it, please, if you don't have spotify, pull it up on yt or apple music or something. get in the same headspace and vibe as me. energy is everything, we are separate. across time and space. you need to be on my level. i rage against the dying of the light. meaning i rage at what this space has come to, compared to what this space CAN be. what this space was MEANT to be. this is not a dig at the product, pumpfun, but an abuse of the game itself. but with every great game, the rules must be adjusted. the metas must be nerfed. in order to eventually reach its full potential. the best movies, stories, poems, documentaries, novels, etc etc inflict a powerful thing called EMOTION. when inflicted, it moves the human. no matter where you are, your past experience, your knowledge or values, art has a way of MOVING the human spirit into life changing action. this is what i view tokenized culture as. this is what i view tokenized MEMETIC culture as. no matter how degen, sloppy, cringy you may think it is, there is always a point where it transforms to a story in itself, and a cultural pavement throughout history. from a new pair launch in the void that we call the trenches, to a story being manifested and explored by people all around the world in real time. this is the beauty of tokenized memetic culture. this is the beauty of building in public, on a thing that seems so abstract and playful, but at the end of the day, humans are most happy when they remember that "kid-like" feeling they felt when they were younger. the curiosity of what happens next, not knowing the result of the next day. the mystery, that we call life in itself. so much of that has been taken away in today's society through instant gratification, technology overtaking basic purposes of human mankind. i don't view this as a bad thing, but a natural evolutionary state that would have happened regardless. i believe we are living in a timeline where there is infinite opportunity, and you can truly change your life with one decision. one decision, one introspective thought and commitment. that really is all that it takes. call it luck, skill, or whatever. but there is also the opposite, where there are infinite distractions. infinite ways to stray you from YOUR full potential. the way the world has where you get a litttttle bit too comfy. and you wonder why you feel this emptiness? i am not trying to speak for you, only with what i have experienced at the young age of 25 years old. find that thing that makes your blood boil, then find the thing you think changes it. for me, that is https and memeing the very market and insanity of it. having fun in a lighthearted way, and enjoying the process of innovating and banding people together. tonight, i had an epiphany, where i found myself being hypocritical. how can a developer in this space preach his own stories and values without owning a share in another project that shares the same work-ethic and determination we do? i decided to buy knightcore as a longterm investment in tokenized memetic culture tonight. about 45 minutes ago from writing this. why? because they exhibit the change I want to see, and show up and band together daily. i believe with the power and conviction this 'small' group of people share, we will bring goodness to the small space that is the 'trenches', and this small space we call 'crypto'. because i see crypto becoming a much larger marketshare over the coming years, and i see tokenized memetic culture grabbing a decent percentage of that. this post is not to get views, likes, comments or praise. but to put my thoughts into the void of the internet to come back to in the future, and reflect on my thought process on october 30th, 2026. i believe i am right, and would bet a lot on it, even my own life, that I am. because what greater value is there than the power of a story, and people coming together? there is none. written introspectively, zach aka pumpa
