As I tell my son he needs to move the clutch off the kitchen counter, he says “it’s not so bad, Ma. At least I don’t have to move a transmission out of the tub for you to have a bath”. That, my friends, puts life in perspective. #perspective #thingsilearnedfrommyson #lifelessons

It was almost Christmas and Santa was stressed. He needed to find someplace to give his poor brain a rest. Some time under water with bubbles to blow, that’s what he needed, but where could he go?
No oceans, no seas and no lakes were around, so he decided to check out the pool sessions in town. Come check it out, get a photo or two - Scuba Santa Claus will be waiting for you!!
*Special guest appearance by Sharky
*Fri, Dec 10, 2021 at the RSSC pool session (Regina); Sun, Dec 12, 2021 at the BSC pool session (N. Battleford)
*spaces are limited in Regina
* RSSC and BSC regular pool session rules apply
*all attendees required to be fully vaccinated #sharkskatchewan #saskshark #scubasanta

More and more research is showing the connection between trauma, adverse childhood experiences, and pain.
A great video with some great tips for health care providers on how to approach or integrated "trauma-informed care" into their practice.
There is an important body of literature suggesting a connection between early childhood adversity and the development of #chronicpain in adulthood.

Picking up garbage from along Lake Diefenbaker today I found a diaper, a sand pail and a dental flosser. What weird trash have you found by (or in) a lake? @SASK_UC
