Thank you to Gerry Smith of The New York Times for taking the time to share our Yonkers football story and giving my teammates and me a chance to represent our city on such an incredible platform. Thank you as well to Jose A. Alvarado Jr. for the amazing photographs that bring our story to life. 🙏🏽🏈 As a senior, it means so much to have this moment captured alongside the teammates I’ve put in the work with. I’m grateful to our coaches for believing in us, our families for supporting us, and everyone who continues to show up for Yonkers football. This recognition is something we get to share with all of you. Proud to wear YONKERS across my chest. I hope our story helps more people see the heart, talent, and determination in our community. Please give it a read and share! 🔴⚪🔵 #YonkersFootball #YonkersGuardians #OmarAreche #ClassOf2027 #NYFootball #FootballRecruiting #NYTimes #Section1 nytimes.com/2026/10/24/nyreg… @YonkersGuardian @YPS_Athletics @YonkersSchools @yonkersbulldogs @DrS_Hattar @nytimes @gerryfsmith @jose___a @Section1Central @rayteodora1 @CityofYonkers @GiantsCRDept @PRZcory @247Recruiting @PrepRedzoneNY @On3Recruiting @MincklerKevin @Rivals_Recruits @USArmyBowl @ncsa @TopPreps @trenchmenAC @FrankPacoRojas1 @NationalComb1ne @adamgorney @gregbiggins @ChadSimmons_ @BrandonHuffman @TheUCReport @LIBLITZ @247Sports @sixstarfootball @AboutUOutreach @youareathlete @KDJmedia1 @AlphaEliteSprts @jr_gennaro5567
