20 years ago today I walked through the hallowed doors of 43 Conway Street in Hove to begin my first job in the bus industry. How time flies; such huge fun and so many wonderful memories.

It's the first Friday in July, so that can only mean one thing: Silverstone F1 2024. Here's hoping for a bit of sun

Today I reach a certain milestone, so *embarrassing photo alert*; here I am looking somewhat younger behind the wheel of Yorkshire Traction Scania N113 H270THL at Rawmarsh depot when still relatively new

The sun breaking through earlier this morning in the capital and an opportunity for a flying visit to my old haunt of Waterloo garage, where I was a trainee Base Manager for the 507 and 521 routes some 17 years ago

A flying visit to the south coast and perhaps a chance to have a ride on one of the OmniDekkas in their final summer here after first introduction in 2003.

A trip through the archives today brings me to this, which I had totally forgotten about and which I visited in early 1996 whilst on a visit to Bradford. Sadly it didn't remain open very long

I tried to get a shot of all the @EnsignBusCo in one row and whilst I just about succeeded it would have been better from a distance and for the row on the nearside not to have been there to give the best effect. I will make a note for next year! Great to have them with us.
