i’ve now made updated song sorters for hozier’s entire discography and an individual one for the deluxe editions of each album! you can find them all in my carrd. please quote with your results!! psychcpomp.carrd.co/
and (for now) that’s the end of my concert posting !!
very grateful to everyone involved for their dedication to Palestine
i study Palestinian poetry, so here’s the donation page for WANN, who run writing and literacy programs in Palestine
nonviolenceinternational.net…
if anyone’s curious, literature (especially poetry) is a central part of Palestinian culture and identity, so i encourage everyone to go do some reading. Darwish, Barghouti, and Alareer are wonderful starting points but there’s a whole world of writing out there to enjoy
want to clarify about the special thanks Hozier gave to a few people on Monday: arrangements for Too Sweet/From Eden were by Ryan Connors, who arranged for the 2025 tour, but now with a much larger string ensemble. all the other arrangements were the new ones by Meredi.
here’s what i have of from eden!! ik there’s a lot of footage of this one out there but i wanted to share bc i think the added string players really take Ryan Connors’s arrangement (same as 2025 tour) to a new level
ok sorry for the delay but here’s the entrance + a lot of too sweet from monday night. decided to leave in the awkwardly long pause between the band and andrew coming out bc i think it’s funny. as always the video quality is between me and god and tim cook so shut your mouth
this arrangement is Ryan Connors’s btw - keyboardist and MD extraordinaire who did the tour arrangements in 2025!! this version did sound different to me, but i think that’s bc there were so many string instrumentalists on stage
the thing is that whether harry styles is bi or not simply does not matter to me. like why would i care if taylor swift and nick grimshaw were sister wives that’s nothing more than a funny tweet. why the life or death tone
every part of this is crazy and racist but they don’t produce science may be the craziest bc it is near universally agreed upon by historians that every major scientific discovery had its roots in scholarship from the muslim world. the literal numbers we all use are Arab dude
actually think this is a really insightful allusion to the artifice of politics and how much of the work is done by non public figures who don’t get credit but it is quite weird to see it come from an official government source if that is indeed the case
