This is but the ghost of Astrid. I hope you'll all remember me by this email from KATE BUSH.
Dear Brisbane Pub Choir, I've been so busy that I've only just had the chance to watch you all singing RUTH. It's utterly, utterly wonderful! I love it so much! Thank you everyone. You sing it really beautifully. I'm incredibly touched by your warmth and all your smiling faces. Thank you! With lots of love, Kate

POV: you taught 6500 people in 12 cities across the US how to sing together in 3 part harmony. No big deal, just thousands of strangers living in the moment, being kind to each other, making beautiful music... ENJOY THE MAGIC  youtu.be/zbxPmRdp7J4

2500 people walked (sang) 1000 miles collectively. This works out to 0.4mile (approx 644m) per person. Much more efficient workload than a Proclaimer walking 500 miles alone. The more you know! Anyway here's the best video on the internet @VanessaCarlton youtu.be/cYFCId_iEZI?si=djwH…

Anyone else go the @pubchoir show at the @thecrocodile last night? It was my first experience. I was blown away. Total blast! 750 of us sang 3-part harmony to Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody." Thanks @JorgensenAstrid and crew for a night that warmed my soul.

Last week in Thallon, the town grew to 800% of its normal population for our show! Their performance was entirely yelled and gutsy and I loved every second of it. When the lil kids come in with their line my heart melted. Everybody is a singer, OKAY?! youtu.be/BqN94W9pNkA?si=YI6u…

My crew and I drove 6 hours (9 hours with bushfire smoke detours) west of Brisbane to Thallon for a sing. Around 50 people live in town. 370 came out for a sing with me at sunset. Music is magic.
A view of Astrid on stage looking out at the singing crowd. They're standing outside on red dirt and most are in wide brim cowboy hats with a drink in their hand. There are people of all ages all huddled together, singing.

A view from behind the crowd looking out towards the stage. Most people have their hands in the air, cheering. The sun has just set in the distance behind some grain silos and there are a few clouds smeared across the otherwise clear blue sky

I am absolutely obsessed with @PubChoir. (and this is one of my all-time favorite songs!!) (though if I were to ever do this in person I would probably burst into tears because of all the collective effervescence) youtube.com/watch?v=R81vs7QL…
