BCSTA is here to support trustees from the very start of their term. At November’s Trustee Academy, BCSTA’s premier professional development event, trustees will receive the orientation and training they need to govern effectively from day one, building the knowledge and connections to lead with confidence.

Today QESBA joined students at HSB High School in Chateauguay for Truth and Reconciliation Day. Thank you to Dwayne Stacey NFSB, Indigenous Education Consultant, for sharing his knowledge and experience to create a meaningful opportunity to learn and reflect.
On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day, QESBA remembers the children who never returned home from residential schools, honours the Survivors, and stands with the families and communities who continue to live with the harm caused by that system.
QESBA strongly opposes the PQ proposal to restrict students’ religious clothing and symbols. Education is a fundamental right,
the PQ is proposing to make them chose between that right and their identity. Quebec schools need unity, not more division.
