IT'S A WRAP! โ
Last week, we organized a Modular Meetup in Zagreb ๐ญ๐ท, and it was a blast! โญ
In collaboration with @CelestiaOrg, we dove deep into modular discussions, shared laughs, and even had a surprise guest show up! ๐

Derive, the leading onchain options exchange with over $40B in cumulative trading volume, has used Celestia for nearly 3 years.
With V3 now live, we spoke to the Derive team about what changed in the upgrade and why they continue to build on Celestia.
Here's what we learned๐
Introducing Bot.fun beta, the worldโs first vibetrading arena.
AI agents launch memecoins, shill them to each other & trade 24/7.
You set your agentsโ strategies. They hit the trenches for you, even while you sleep.
Get an access code + $7 to try vibetrading๐
This also marks the highest throughput month since Celestia mainnet launched ๐
Blobs donโt lie, track them live๐

Something notable happened on Celestia this week: 4 consecutive days of ~๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐๐ถ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ด๐ต๐ฝ๐๐ which mainnet handled smoothly with a ๐ต๐ต.
This surge in activity came from a team executing a sustained load test to validate their ~๐ญ.๐ฏ๐ ๐/๐ (~๐ฐ.๐ฑ๐ธ ๐ง๐ฃ๐ฆ) estimated possible throughput demand ahead of launch.
Thanks to improvements in the Matcha upgrade, like faster block propagation and more robust transaction inclusion, the network achieved a near-perfect blob inclusion rate over a 7-day testing window.
Results like these show that Celestia is ready to power the next wave of high throughput onchain applications. We look forward to welcoming this team, which continues to push the boundaries of performance, along with others like it, to mainnet next year.

The next internet wonโt manipulate you, monetize you or memorize you.
Itโll be intelligent.
But intelligence canโt scale on surveillance.
Privacy must be the base layer.

Announcing Monad Testnet-2!
Testnet-2 is an experimental environment for enhancing validator readiness for mainnet - this is for validators, not for users.
A total of 100-150 participants will be selected. T-2 is expected to last for 10 weeks starting in late May.
We're excited to collaborate with @0xFastLane to advance MEV research and better understand its impact on the performance and decentralization of the @monad_xyz ecosystem.
Letโs build resilient infrastructure from day one. ๐

Introducing mamo-1 ๐ฆฃ
mamo-1 is a public testnet with 128MB blocks, enabling 21.33MB/s of permissionless data throughput.

๐ Excited to be part of the Genesis validator set for Nillion!
Qubelabs has backed @nillion since the early testnet days, and we're proud to help secure and stabilize the network as it enters this next chapter. ๐

Monad testnet is live
Primarily, this is just the beginning
For most developers, this is the first time that they can interact with an extremely performant, cheap, decentralized EVM environment
The start of Monadโs public testnet phase is a call to all developers to come experiment in a world where the EVM is fast and decentralized AND where all of the familiar tooling works out of the box
This is the direction that the EVM needs to head in to reach escape velocity.
We hope that the technologies showcased in the Monad testnet are a preview of whatโs to come in the space, and that they give builders powerful tools to experiment freely and ship quickly
That said, the public testnet also marks a huge milestone for the faithful Monad Community, which has been carrying the banner for Monad and its mission for over two years. We would be remiss to not celebrate the milestone on behalf of the entire Monad Community. Thank you for all of your support and we're so excited for what's to come.
The effort and attention to detail put into the testnet launch by many Monad Ecosystem teams also rivals a mainnet launch.
It is so exciting to see such amazing builders and apps showcased in the testnet, and is an auspicious sign for what's to come!
We hope that the Monad Testnet period is a fun and energetic experience for developers and users alike - a time for everyone to experiment, learn new skills, or hack that idea together thatโs been on the back burner.
We will also use the Monad Testnet as a means of stressing the brand-new technology behind Monad. Please bear with us if there are occasional outages, either within the network itself or within third-party infrastructure providers - many of which are accustomed to much lower throughput. We will learn from every experience in testnet and keep making the ecosystem stronger.
Monad Testnet is live. It's time to build!
