We're out providing first aid cover to the @resist_london demo today - we're not running a demo phone but will be monitoring analogue PMR466 channel 16 as an experiment.

Having people on hand to deal with violent incidents is important and great, and they may well increase in the UK. But just as important is making sure that people have someone to visit them in a psych ward, or help them adjustments made to their housing so they can live safley.

Training sign ups are OPEN!
The new training covers first aid, mental health, saftey, extended care, and advocacy, as well as a few extra bits(like working in QC, security, etc).
It's a mixture of online and offline- Signal calls plus about 12 hours of in person work.

We are calling a demonstration outside NHS England on 4th of December. #TransHealthcare in this country is segregated. Stand with us oto show them that we deserve better, to honour our siblings killed by the NHS, and to protect those awaiting care. #AbolishGICs ! (1/6)
ALT We will be hosting a candlelit vigil as the sun sets. Dress warmly and in appropriately sombre clothing. You can bring your own candles, but some will be provided. Stay safe, wear a mask, bring food and water, and don't talk to cops.
