Alex Triantafilou and Matt Huffman must resign.
For years Ohio GOP leadership has ignored, smeared, and shut out conservatives, rigging primaries, issuing edicts against campaigns, and treating dissent as disloyalty.
The party belongs to grassroots Republicans, not a handful of insiders.
Enough. It’s time for accountability and new leadership.

Every week I donate a bit of money to these ORPHANS in Uganda. I have done my due diligence to be sure it's not a scam. This is a Christian ministry, run by @MuhindoPeterso4 Please help feed and clothe these children of God. Ask me how or contact Muhindo.

Yup. Not to mention, the Ohio GOP never allowed for a primary. They just crowned Vivek their candidate…doing exactly what conservative voters have been very critical of the democrats of doing. Voters were pissed off about his candidacy from the jump. A potato should have been able to beat Amy Acton. That says everything you need to know about how terribly the GOP handled Ohio.
Governor DeSantis GOES OFF on Vivek Ramaswamy. “How bad did they beat Vivek like a drum? Now, part of that was Vivek, quite frankly. I don't know why they would have pushed him to be the candidate there. My mom's from Youngstown. Ohio is a working-class state, very blue-collar. You know, Vivek, he's like a tech guy, did this Alzheimer's drug, and he wants to bring in people, foreign worker on visas. That is not the type of person that's going to sell. And I know he shot himself in the foot. I know he did a lot of other stuff to make it a real landslide against him. But even with that, it's like, you got to meet the voters where they are on some of this stuff. I think we would have done better in Ohio had we had a candidate that was more representative or more in tune with the interests of kind of these blue-collar people that make the backbone of Ohio. But they got blown out there.”

Couldn't happen to a more deserving guy. Amy spanked his ass, bad. EIGHT POINTS. Not even close. I hate to see a Dem as Governor, but FAFO.
Guess Vivek is ineligible to run again since he got raped tonight

Yes, exactly this. Amy spanked his ass, bad. And he SO deserved it. I definitely didn't want Ohio to go blue, but damn. Actions have consequences. As do arrogance and stupidity. FAFO

Hmm. I wonder if it ever gets boring to be right all the time. @RepThomasMassie
Instead of correcting course, the GOP chose to shoot the messenger and double down on stupid. (This tweet is one year old tomorrow.)

The patriots like me who truly love and care about this country tried to warn the rest of you about what was coming. We were laughed at, ignored, blocked. We didn't want this to happen. But millions didn't want to listen to us. The rallies were more important. Good luck!

I don't believe you do. I believe you're a sock account simping for the @ohiogop. So let's play your game ... Yost dropped out and Tressel never ran because the ORP leadership and Trump endorsed Vivek the day he announced. That is the establishment clearing the field. The primary wasn’t a real contest among viable candidates. It was Vivek vs. a YouTuber who spent $130k and still got nearly 18%. Serious people didn’t stay in once the party and Trump had already decided. We can agree Vivek was a lousy general-election candidate (the “lazy Americans” comments, the private-jet optics, the attack ad that backfired, etc.). The question is who decided Ohio Republicans didn’t get a genuine process to pick someone better. That decision was made by the people running the Ohio GOP. Voters don’t owe the party a vote just because the nominee has an R next to his name. Leadership has to earn it by running a process that produces stronger candidates. They didn’t. That’s on them. OHIO COMMON GROUND Politicians must earn your vote.™

A 20-year-old woman died in a terrifying plane crash, and before her family could even begin to bury her, social media influencers were already using her death to attack women and girls. Some of these voices even claim to speak for Christianity. There is something profoundly wrong with this. Her name was Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras. On November 1, a Learjet 60 traveling from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas crashed near West Palm Beach, Florida, killing all nine people aboard: seven passengers and two pilots. Among the dead were Adam Robinson, his wife Helen Sharp, their four-year-old daughter Emma, their two-year-old son Charlie, two family friends, and the children’s nanny. The aircraft’s captain, Jeffrey Gregory, also lost his life. Nathalia was just 20 years old. She had earned her pilot’s license at 17 and accumulated more than 1,300 hours of flight experience. She had pursued her dream of becoming a professional aviator, a career demanding considerable technical knowledge, discipline, and training. During the emergency, it was Nathalia’s voice communicating with air traffic control. She reported icing, turbulence, and the aircraft’s increasingly desperate situation, continuing to communicate as the emergency unfolded. And now, instead of allowing her family to grieve, people are exploiting those final moments to ridicule her, question her abilities, and advance arguments about whether women belong in aviation and other technical professions. Friends in Christ, what are we becoming? This is one of the ways social media influencers can lead us away from what is good, beautiful, and true. They take a human tragedy, strip away the dignity of those involved, and turn suffering into entertainment, outrage, and ideological ammunition. We must be very careful about the voices we allow to shape our consciences, especially when those voices claim religious authority. From what I have read, the National Transportation Safety Board is investigating several possible factors, including weather conditions and structural failure. Captain Jeffrey Gregory was the pilot in command. Whether this terrible tragedy involved human error, mechanical failure, or some combination of circumstances remains to be determined. Until investigators establish the facts, speculation and accusations serve no good purpose. And please, when those horrific videos and recordings appear in your feed, consider simply scrolling past them. I am not asking anyone to censor the truth. I am asking you to consider what repeatedly consuming another person’s final moments does to your heart, your mind, and your soul. Those were real people. Two of them were little children. They were loved, and their families are suffering. For now, let us pray for all nine souls, for those who mourn them, for everyone traumatized by witnessing the crash, and for the investigators entrusted with discovering the truth. May God grant the dead eternal rest, comfort those who love them, and help us recover some measure of compassion in the way we treat one another. Amen.

EXTREMELY well articulated. Spot-on.
I have been holding my tongue about something that happened during the Ohio gubernatorial race. I refused to speak while the election was underway because I did not want my words mistaken for an attempt to influence anyone’s vote. But now that the election is over, I have something to say. For nearly twenty years, my ministry has taken me among the homeless, the abused, the exploited, and the forgotten. I have sat with victims of sexual violence and witnessed the lifelong wounds of childhood trauma. What Vivek Ramaswamy’s campaign did to Amy Acton was among the most morally repulsive things I have witnessed in American politics. They took a woman whose stepfather was indicted for raping her when she was twelve years old and featured her mother, from whom she had been estranged for nearly fifty years, in a political advertisement attacking her credibility. The advertisement challenged Acton’s account of her childhood without mentioning the sexual abuse allegations or the circumstances of that estrangement. When people expressed their horror, the campaign defended it. Imagine examining another person’s childhood suffering and fractured family relationships, then deciding those wounds might help win an election. Anyone who has worked with survivors of childhood sexual abuse understands the painful realities of denial, betrayal, shame, and estrangement. A child growing into a successful adult does not erase what happened. Nor does a parent’s denial make that suffering disappear. I find it equally disturbing that an elderly mother, whom Acton herself described as unwell, was brought into this spectacle. Whatever her own struggles or responsibility for the past, exploiting that fractured relationship was grotesque. To everyone who defended this, consider the message you sent to survivors. To the young woman whose family refuses to believe her. To the man who has carried the shame of childhood abuse for forty years. To the frightened child who has yet to tell anyone. What did you teach them about the value of their suffering? I am a priest. I believe in repentance, forgiveness, and redemption. But none of those things requires me to pretend that deliberate cruelty is anything less than a grave moral failure. Your political allegiance does not absolve you of moral responsibility. You do not get to set aside your conscience during an election and retrieve it afterward. If your loyalty requires you to defend the exploitation of a childhood sexual abuse survivor, your loyalty has become an idol. And if your conscience cannot recognize the wrong here, examine what political tribalism has done to it. This is not about Republicans or Democrats. We have a choice as a people: continue excusing cruelty from our preferred political camp, or summon the courage to condemn it wherever it appears. Amy Acton deserved better. Every survivor who watched this unfold deserved better. And God help us if we have reached the point where winning an election matters more than protecting the dignity of a wounded human being.

Tonight’s outcome isn’t about placing faith in Democrats or socialist principles; it’s about holding Republicans accountable for betraying their promises. All Republicans had to do was: 1. put Americans First 2. not start another war 3. prosecute sex traffickers

Had a sheriff lockout eviction today . We did not initiate it; the owner did. That was one of the saddest things I’ve seen in a long time. A single dad piling as much as possible in the back of his truck while 2 Sheriffs stand there watching. Walking through the house; remote controlled cars. Princess dresses. Cat toys. Juice boxes and coloring books. He was so contrite. It broke my heart. Sheriffs finally had to leave because they had EIGHT on the schedule for today. Many underestimate how bad good families are suffering.

It's looking like "Governor Acton" and "Senator Brown". This was so avoidable. Lesson: Americans may be lazy slackers who "venerate mediocrity" but we know when we're being insulted and we do not like it.

If the republicans really wanted my vote, they should have done what they promised. Mass deportations, low gas prices, affordable homes. No new wars. But they didn't do any of those things. That's why I stayed home. Oh, and you shouldn't have pushed out Thomas Massie Good luck!

I've never voted democrat and I have no plan to tomorrow, but for the first time in my life I'm hoping the democrats humiliate the republicans. They deserve it. If America doesn't send them a message, they will never get back on track and do what we actually voted for in 2024.

These thugs need to be identified and arrested. In Cincinnati, looks like Corryville? Or somewhere on Vine.
Last night, crowds up on Short Vine destroyed property, set fires, vandalized vehicles, started fights—and assaulted CPD Officers who were just trying to keep everyone safe. This CPD Officer was beaten and kicked repeatedly. The Officer required stitches and medical attention. This video is hard to see—and this is only the end of the video—it does not show the beginning where the Officer was jumped, nor does it show the duration of the assault. If you know who this piece of shit is that is beating on this CPD Officer—or if you recognize the assholes standing their taking pictures—PLEASE either reach out to Crime Stoppers at: 513-352-3040, or feel free to reach out to CPD directly. Please share this video far and wide, so that we might bring this Felon to Justice. #share #Signal99 #fypシ #Cincinnati #Ohio #fypシ゚viralシ

DO YOU KNOW @VivekGRamaswamy's voting history? Here it is. Dude voted ONCE up until 2020 when he started planning to run for office, ONCE. He also left Ohio for college & didn't come back until he decided to run for office. He's a carpetbagging, con-man.

Too many Americans look at politics like it's a sports game Red Sox vs Yankees Packers vs Bears When your "team" wins, you had nothing to do with it It doesn't matter who wins in 2 days They all (except Massie) hate you and will never care about you You're wasting your time
