Me driving at 2 30 am so that I don't stop at a rest area and get murdered:
An odyssey to get to @unevadareno to give a talk. Delayed flight. Missed connection. Rented a car and drove 4 hrs to arrive at 3 30 am. Crazy but worth it! Fantastic students, amazing questions and new colleagues and collaborations. 10/10. Thank you for being such great hosts.

This is the second time this year I will present a project the day after it was desk rejected. Puts you in a weird frame of mind...but we March on
Just had the most stressful JIT submission process ever. 1 day turn around and one PI on sabbatical..no deadline extension allowed. This pending grant is legit my dream. It's out of my hands now.
Submitted @NaveenaUjagar 1st author paper today! We will preprint soon. Send good vibes. Reviewers can be brutal
I think one of my favorite parts of my job is helping students design experiments. The possibilities excited me!
