Today, I started a 5 weeks Programme on product management with #insurjo2022
Day 1 live session featured the brilliant @lennysan newsletter.
Below are few takeouts from his session:
* Excellent communication is an important part of a product manager.
* Focus on building your strength and gradually, your weakness.
* Employ smart and passionate people over experienced people for some roles.
* For a company to be resilient through downtimes they need to hire resilient people.
#TheProductFolks #10DaysOfProdMan #Day1
On investing,
* Check if the founder can push the company through murky waters.
* is the solution solving a problem by building on modern technology?

A thread 🧵👇
This is week 3 of my MLOps learning. Over time, I have gradually started perfecting my command line coding skills. And also set up my virtual machine on AWS.
Particularly, this week I have learnt how to use Prefect to schedule ML model training.

Terrorists == Nigerian government.
I await a better definition or demonstration.
They have started transferring protesters from Adeniji Police Station to Ikeja State Command without letting their lawyers see them.
Is this a military regime?

Last night was a relief, but not an end. We’re now in this for the long game. I’ve learnt so much over the last 2 weeks and am now very much wide awake. Our children must not meet this same Nigeria.
My sadness is tired sef.

Do not use tribal, ethnic and religious divides to cause chaos
You are no different from the politicians that have kept this country the way it is
The last few days at the peaceful protests showed us otherwise, we are first humans before anything.
Let it remain that way

Don't try to remove the bullet or knife
Doing that leads to more blood loss. Leave in in and try to move the person immediately.
Raise the bleeding part above the level of the heart, either arm or leg.
More importantly: Ensure that you've called for help and moving the person

When you use a cloth to stop bleeding either from a gunshot or stab wound, DON'T remove it no matter what
If it's soaked, put another cloth on top and continue the pressure
Removing the soaked cloth disturbs the clotting process and starts afresh leading to more blood loss.
