It’s time to tackle the trap of inequality and mental illness.
Despite some improvements, today’s @NHSDigital data shows that Black people are over three and a half times more likely to be detained under the Mental Health Act than white people.
People from the poorest communities are almost four times more likely to be detained than people from the most affluent communities in England.
