There’s a reason I take so much pride in my work.
Designing NEO and telling its story is an attempt to do justice to some of the best engineering work in human history.
I am so lucky. I am so grateful for all the support.

Do you see what I saw? Because I see a seesaw.
Superimposing two images we can find the pivot point using the perpendicular bisector of a chord theorem. The fulcrum is cleary slightly forward of the B pillar, not the rear wheels.
This implies a fulcrum near the center-of-gravity. Given the junkyard setting and the visible damage, this is probably a gutted junker with the engine pulled, which would shift the center of gravity back to where the pivot point is shown.
The car rests on its front wheels with a hidden fulcrum, and the rear wheels are already off the ground. As the robot tips the front up, the rear goes down. Watch closely and you'll see it lift too far, causing the rear wheels to bounce off the ground, as you see the front drops for a moment before the robot recovers.
The robot did not lift a car. It tipped a balanced shell.
The video suggests strength the robot does not possess.

Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10.
Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years.
Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco to achieve record power density.

The robot in your home needs a designer – let us introduce you.
Dar Sleeper @radbackwards is Chief Design Officer at @1x_tech, where he drove major innovation in hardware and creative over the past two years. He spearheaded the design of NEO, 1X's flagship consumer home robot, and led a comprehensive overhaul of the company's branding. Prior to 1X, Dar held product and marketing roles at Tesla and had stints at Yeezy and StockX.
Dar will sit down with Ed Ludlow @EdLudlow, host of Bloomberg Tech on @BloombergTV and a correspondent in Bloomberg's newsroom, for a fireside chat onstage at the Artist and the Machine Summit this December in LA.

Powerful performance to serve and guard you, with a maximum endurance of approximately 8 hours.
Please use the robot safely and in a friendly manner.
Question: When the average kid (6-12 yrs) of today finishes school, do they still watch TV on a TV screen? or is it primarily mobile across the board?
SpaceX giving shares to the kids is the first domino to fall in pursuit of worldwide abundance.
People will only understand the value of AI/Robotics once abundance is evenly distributed and they can feel it directly.
Let’s keep going 🤝
Humanoid Hub Conference Year One ☝️
Such an honor to be invited to speak and so grateful to be a part of the @TheHumanoidHub community.
Real Roboticist’s know Devang has been doing it for the love of the game since day one. He supported us when no one cared what we were building and to be able to support him years later as we all grow together is the best feeling on earth.
I almost teared up when a lady told me she flew from Honduras to hear my talk… major testament to the tensile strength of our communities fabric and all credit to Devang for creating the space for us all to connect.

Hey @radbackwards have you considered calling your aesthetic “hyggepunk”?

I sat down with Ali Ansari (@aliansarinik), the 25-year-old solo founder and CEO of @micro1_ai, which just passed $1B in ARR.
It all began when Ali moved from Iran to the U.S. at age nine without speaking English, going from flipping textbooks to building one of the fastest-growing AI data companies today.
* Are experts training their replacements?
* How to teach AI subjective judgment
* Knowledge isn't static; we'll always need new data to align AI
* The robotics and real world data bottleneck
* The high stakes of selling training data to China
* Whether the AI economy can justify the infrastructure build-out
