Next Vibe Coding Experiment: Building my own Work Mission Control Command Center for #Microsoft365, running in Power Apps: 1) The screenshot displays a custom Microsoft Power Apps productivity dashboard titled "Work Mission Control," addressing the user with "Hello, Ragnar". The top Today section features a work summary overview displaying metrics such as 47 unread emails, 1 item waiting in Teams, and 2 meetings scheduled for tomorrow, alongside a daily schedule entry and an urgent attention box noting "Nothing urgent found". Holding the new @surface Laptop Ultra in my hands, right now at the Bechtle Microsoft Business Meeting. 💻 Timing couldn't be better. Microsoft unveiled the device at its Windows event in San Francisco, where @satyanadella described Windows as becoming a "hybrid intelligence" system with both cloud AI and AI running locally. His take: with your permission, Copilot can use the context on your PC, take action for you, and use local models when it makes sense, so your tokens go further. What caught my eye as a governance person: 🔹 Copilot can act directly on the PC and keep sensitive work on your device. 🔹 GitHub Copilot hands work off to local models like MAI-Code-1.1 Flash, now optimized to run on your PC, which keeps costs down. That's exactly the question behind my San Francisco #MSIgnite Microsoft Ignite session: "Cloud to Device: Local-First AI Agents as a new Compliance Strategy?" If hybrid intelligence becomes the default, compliance is no longer only a tenant topic. It moves to the device: ✅ Which data stays local? ✅ When does an agent hand off to the cloud? ✅ Who controls that routing, and how do we audit it?
