19 days ago we launched GotEmail. today we crossed $7,000 in revenue. i have 10+ email accounts across different providers and was tired of opening a browser tab for each one. Airmail, Spark and the rest all had something conflicting, something missing, and every other feature wanted another payment. and Apple Mail... we all know. so i decided to build a client just for myself. i shared the idea with @rahulbridge and he said that, this isn’t just your problem. everyone has it. on day one i posted GotEmail’s first design here and people loved it, so we decided to ship it under our own company at a minimal price. and boom! 111 sales at $4.99 and 30+ emails with bugs, feedback and feature requests in first day. now we knew exactly what to fix and what to build. we focused only on what users asked for. today is day 19: $7k. thank you to everyone on this ride with us. please keep telling us what’s missing, broken or needed. that’s how we turn GotEmail into the best email client out there. ❤️❤️

You asked, we built it. 🫡 Long emails now get the whole window: the header scrolls away with the message, and a slim bar keeps the sender, Translate and Unsubscribe at the top. Coming in the next update. ⏳

Introducing GotEmail 0.8 🎉 The notch is now a little inbox: • New mail drops down while you're in another app. Reply right there, and Undo is a click away while it sends • Login codes land in the notch. Copy, or hit Fill and it types the code into the field you're on • The first time someone opens your email, the notch tells you, once • Drop a file on the notch to start a new message with it attached Also new: • Swipe actions: two fingers across a message to archive, delete, star or mark it read. Pick your own buttons in Settings • Pull down the list to check for new mail • Share any email as a clean screenshot of that one message, with addresses, phone numbers and names starred in one click • Print and Save as PDF with ⌘P • ⌘A selects a whole folder, so emptying spam is one move • Proton Mail Bridge works And a calmer, faster list, conversations that keep everyone's replies, and a fixes from your reports.
