In the middle of a traumatic stretch that never quite lets up, I keep showing up each day and doing the best I can with what I have left... even when I feel emotionally bankrupt and lonely on this proverbial island. The outside world mostly sees the surface... the real work happens in the quiet hours managing confusion and anger that shifts without warning... the extremr exhaustion that never care about plans. The mental load of holding everything together when my body sometimes refuses to cooperate is almost too much.
Most people can’t see those trials, so they think im cold or difficult when its trauma im working through real-time.
Still, I keep going... not because it feels easy or because anyone understandsor even wants to. I only do it because this is the path in front of me, and doing my best is the only way through it all even if i fail miserably
