@elonmusk This is something you could do something about! And this is why we really detest the publish or perish system... So, recently, as we have been posting about, our team made a pretty damn significant breakthrough in mathematics and the formulation of a unified field theory. As part of this discovery, we have found the internal shape of the proton, and then even more maths beneath that. Trying to be responsible with information, our team has been going through each proof by hand to ensure that we have not made any fundamental mistakes, though it delays the release slightly. As none of us are in academia, and we wished to have the paper peer reviewed and challenged, as any good theory should be. With that in mind, we reached out to a prolific academic who, at least from the people we spoke to, was of good repute. Not only did he try to claim our discovery of the shape of the proton, he then tried to steal and release some of the aforementioned new maths. However, like most thieves, he was sloppy, and forgot to change the units. Gotta hate it when that happens. And as annoying as that is, the most ironic part is that when we tried to explain to him where his math was bad, he insisted on numerology over fact. The first release of our new theory on X coincided with his initial release of our data. Despite making it well known that we were aware of this, he then proceeded to do it again. We have reached out to the journal in question raising the issue, not that I expect much out of them. Academia, you are a cancer. If you are part of the publish or perish system that thinks that three letters behind your name gives you the right to steal others work, do the world a favor and switch to retail, or maybe go scrub the sticky floors of seedy bars. We will no longer be attempting to publish any part of this model through any academic journal. We will be releasing it in its entirety via X communities, as well as via our public github repository, as we have them available. The EARTH model is a mathematically rigorous unified theory that has the potential to truly move the needle forward in any field that touches mathematics or science. Please be patient as we release our foundational proofs. Previews and Github access can be found here: xitter.cf/i/communities/19982365…

codepen.io/jlthermoelectric/… Very cool one tonight. This simulation is a toric-code lattice wrapped onto a torus, so the geometry is not aesthetic decoration, it is the topology of the quantum memory itself. The torus gives the code two independent non-contractible cycles, the long way around the body and the short way around the hole. The cyan, green, and yellow voxel field is the discrete stabilizer/qubit lattice. The purple glitching cubes are the important part: they are anyonic syndrome defects, meaning local parity-check failures where the code detects an error excitation. If those purple defects appear in small contractible clusters, the code can absorb and correct them. If their path winds around one of the torus cycles, they become a logical operator and can flip the encoded state. So the purple cubes are the simulated fault layer: they show where the toric code is being stressed, where the topological protection survives, and where the torus stops being just geometry and becomes memory.

~ memory is a flock of birds ~ i built a hopfield network and taught it the alphabet - then watched it remember in real time by adjusting the temperature. no neuron has the whole picture. the memory is distributed across every neuron’s connections.

3D magnetic knot is a particle that can memorise, transmit geometric shape and do neuronlike computing. It has enormous potential. imagine a magnetic particle is doing the job, the days of electrical resistance will be over

The origin of life cannot be explained by materialist philosophy: Michael Polanyi, chemist and philosophy, argued that "we need at least two levels of explanation to account for living structures—a physical and an organizational explanation. This is best illustrated in the DNA molecule. The bases, sugars, and phosphates that comprise the nucleotides in DNA are ordinary chemicals and react according to ordinary chemical laws. Yet those same laws cannot explain the sequence of bases that spells out the message in DNA. In Polanyi’s words, the sequence of bases is extraneous to” or “independent of” the chemical and physical forces in the DNA molecule. That is, the sequence is not determined by inherent physical forces. It is precisely this “physical indeterminacy” that gives the DNA molecule the flexibility to appear in a variety of sequences, like words on a page. And if physical forces do not determine the structure of the DNA molecule, then we need to search outside physics for its organizing principle. We need a second level of explanation. This becomes clearer if we draw an analogy to human language. The words in a book are written in ink. Yet their sequence did not arise from the chemicals in the ink, nor from any chemical interaction between the ink and the paper, nor even from the electronic impulses in the computer when it was originally keyed in. The information is completely independent of the material medium used to store and transmit it. Exactly the same reasoning applies to the information in DNA. It is independent of the material medium—the strand of chemicals—used to store and transmit it. If we knew how to translate the message encoded in a DNA molecule, we could write it out using other material. We could write it in Magic Marker, in crayon, in finger paint. We could even write with a stick in the sand. And it would still be the same message. Changing the material medium does not change the message. Information is independent of the material substance that stores and conveys it. And because a message is independent of the material medium, it does not originate from the medium. The DNA message does not originate in the chemistry of a DNA molecule—any more than the text on this page arose from the paper and ink used to print it. In reality, of course, the words on this page were constrained by the principles of the English language—rules of grammar, interpretation, and sentence construction—along with the rules of logic and reasoning. By the same token, Polanyi argues, the information in the DNA molecule is constrained by special organic rules and principles—principles not reducible to the laws of physics and chemistry. This dude absolutely annihilates the theory of evolution in 70 seconds. Life does not come from non life. We did not evolve from a single cell organism. Believing in evolution takes faaaaar more faith than believing in a creator.
