A new research letter on probiotic associated invasive infections in preterm infants has been published today (July 31, 2026). The letter is part of the @JAMANetworkOpen initiative and presents a comprehensive database of events. While the number of events is relatively small, it provides the absolute risk figures that every NICU has been eagerly awaiting.
