A Memorable Visit to Machupichu a Historic Sanctuary In Aguas Calientes, Peru 🇵🇪 in South America.
Sitting high in the Andes mountains of Peru, this great Inca city was built in the 15th Century by the Incas and later abandoned becoming an iconic attraction in the later years.

It is possible to be a good person and still make decisions that disappoint others. Your responsibility is to act with integrity, not to guarantee that everyone approves of your choices.

Underrated life advice: Keep your personal burn rate low. Cheaper car. Smaller house than the bank says you can afford. No payment you'd panic about if work got weird. Low expenses aren't about being cheap. Low expenses give you options. And options = freedom.

Africa does not need intellectuals who simply translate Western thinking into African languages.
We need scholars who begin with African experiences, challenge inherited assumptions, and produce ideas capable of changing the material conditions of our people.

Jim Carrey Just Explained Depression Better Than Most Therapists
Jim Carrey: “Sadness is just from happenstance, whatever happens to you or doesn’t happen to you.”
“Depression is your body saying, ‘I don’t want to be this character anymore.’”
“You don’t want to carry this persona that you’ve created for the world.”
“I heard Jeff Foster talk about depression as ‘deep rest.’”
“Your body needs to be depressed. It needs deep rest from the character you’ve been trying to play.”
“Sometimes, what feels like breaking down can be a signal that something in your life needs attention.”

My end of the week thoughts
1. Never ignore your health for your career
2. Dont spend a great deal of your time and money trying to impress people
3. Forget constant lifestyle upgrades. They are not necessary. Invest invest invest.
4. Do not think your job will be there forever. Get skills to give you the edge
5. DO YOU 💯. Momento Mori

Perhaps instead of pitting universities against each other, we should be having more conversations about collaboration, benchmarking and learning from one another.
The goal should be to strengthen the quality of higher education in Uganda and not prove which university is better.
