Let's be completely real: you first MUST have official approval from the cultural authority before you can even think about applying for an artist's Work Permit. Since the local bureau explicitly confirmed there was ZERO filing for this event, the brand's logic completely falls apart. Furthermore, even if an artist holds a valid work permit, it absolutely *does not mean the event itself is legally approved.* The brand and their agency are just trying to gaslight and confuse people who don't know how cross-border paperwork actually works. You cannot have a 'document error' for a permit application that legally couldn't even be submitted in the first place! #LingOrm

First of all, let’s look at the facts. (P1) Based on the chat logs and what the manager communicated, Ling has NEVER used a Thai passport to request a work permit whenever she goes to China for work. She holds dual citizenship and carries both a Thai passport and a Hong Kong passport, she always uses her Home Return Permit whenever she travels to China for work. This is because, under Chinese law, her Hong Kong permanent residency grants her Chinese citizen status within the Mainland. Using the Home Return Permit allows her to work there legally without needing a foreign work permit. This is the only correct way that strictly follows China’s official policy. HOWEVER ❗️ (P2) This brand made a post on Weibo claiming that "the manager had promised other brands or projects that artist Ling would no longer use Thai passports (for unknown reasons)." This is completely ridiculous. The brand and the company they hired to handle this are straight-up using false translations and making up fake allegations against Ling to frame her. They are intentionally keeping defamatory comments from Ling’s haters under their posts, while systematically deleting rational comments from fans who are simply questioning their points and asking for concrete evidence of this alleged "couple appearance" event application. MOREOVER ‼️ (P3) When fans directly contacted the Dongyang Culture and Tourism Bureau, the official government authority explicitly stated that they have never received any information or applications regarding Thai artists coming to Dongyang for offline events recently. This exposes their entire lie. Did this brand, this agency, and this third-party company ever actually apply for the permit? And why on earth did they want to use Thai passport to apply for a Work Permit when it wasn't even needed, knowing that doing so would actually put her in serious danger? #LingOrm
