There were considerations to dimensions in time space that I don’t think I’ve experienced before. Also, there was a thousand+ people locked in for 80 mins in the dark.
Autechre. Wow one of the best live sets I’ve ever heard

Last month, @higgsfield generously reset everyone’s monthly quotas, and I tried burning through a month’s worth of credits in a few days. One experiment was a group of people singing a range of notes. Since then, I’ve been building tools for animatics and reusable prompt elements. The choir became a useful test: each video needed the right combination of pitch, timing, animation, and visual style for the performances to work together. None of this was impossible before AI, but it would have been hard to justify the production costs just to explore a playful interaction like this. Sound on. The optimal aim is to make the instrument sing. The tune is less important. I really couldn’t care less

Cobalt is used in e.g. smartphone & laptop batteries; over 70% of world output comes from the Congo, where wages are a few dollars a day & safety is non-existent. The majority of Congolese cobalt mining is owned by two foreign companies, CMOC (Chinese) & Glencore (Anglo-Swiss)

The “Tines” from A Fire Upon The Deep is the most creative and far-out imagining of an alien species I ever read. RIP Vernor Vinge.

We have two options: -Universal housing -Homelessness There is one rational option and one extreme option. Allowing over 500,000 people to sleep on the streets tonight is extreme.

BREAKING: While all eyes are on Ukraine, American and British bombs are being dropped right now on Yemen's capital city of Sanaa. Where are the calls for sanctions? Where is the global outrage?
