My father was John Wayne Gacy’s defense attorney. He recorded their conversations. Every session. Every confession. Every lie. He gifted me the tapes for my 21st birthday hoping that someday I would do something with them, yet those tapes sat in silence. 30 years later, I discovered podcasts and realized that I needed to dig into the Gacy case like no one ever had— and what we found changes everything. The story you’ve been told about how cops caught John Wayne Gacy? It’s a lie. His own attorneys didn’t know the truth. Nobody did. Until now. BURIED: Inside the John Wayne Gacy Investigation is a 33-part serialized podcast built from exclusive recordings, a deep dive into the victims, the investigation, and the trial — and the incredible true story of how the monster was really brought down. This is not true crime. This is the truth.
