Through #tariffs and #Iran, Trump has declared war on America's farmers. @RogerMarshallMD, @PeteRicketts, @hinsonashley and @SenJonHusted have stood by and done nothing. The only option, as I write in @NationalSecJour, is for farmers to vote for @Hamilton4Kansas, @osbornforne, @turek4iowa and @SherrodBrown: nationalsecurityjournal.org/…
Perfect, @JohnPuri2026. No notes.
From me @NRO, with a frightening warning to voters:
A List of Things Democrats Might Do If They Retake Power
nationalreview.com/corner/a-…
I swear, if @AbdulElSayed loses and his supporters blame @HaleyforMI or mainstream Dems for being inadequately supportive, I will go nuts. Not campaigning with Stevens, when there are major questions about AES' ability to bring out core constituencies like Black people and Jews and she is popular with them, is campaign malpractice.
He and his people are arrogant, and pride cometh before the fall. I hope he cleans it up in the next six days.
NEW from me: With under a week to go in what many polls are showing as a still tight Senate race, Abdul El-Sayed hasn’t called his former primary opponent Haley Stevens in months — and there are no plans for them to campaign together before election day.

FWIW, @KenPaxtonTX's mistresses are a pretty big constituency. I'd imagine he really doesn't want to lose all of those votes.
Ken Paxton campaign scrambles to hide 'disgusting' story on his mistress as it's revealed she's a registered Democrat trib.al/jyEeRHv
Oh screw right off, @netanyahu. You're a selfish twerp interested only in self-preservation and staying out of jail. Moving on to your on version of Trump's Big Lie to paper over a loss is just pathetic. You've always acted for yourself and not for the Eretz Yisrael. For Shame.
Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party claims the election was “stolen” by Arab parties and is calling on police to investigate alleged voter fraud.
With 93% of the vote counted, Netanyahu’s bloc has 53 seats, well short of the 61 needed to form a government, down from the 68 seats his coalition held before the election. Arab parties have nearly doubled their representation, jumping from 10 seats to 19.

BREAKING: Texas Republicans announce they will “Pass on Paxton”:
“I truly believe that he is the most corrupt politician Texas has ever seen.”
“To send Ken Paxton to the United States Senate is adding another gator to the swamp.”
“James Talarico is by far — without a doubt — the best person in the race for the US Senate.”
As a liberal Zionist, I will admit I love the idea of an Israeli government that includes Arab parties but doesn't include Netanyahu. It would be an incredibly difficult coalition to manage, but that describes every Israeli coalition of my adult life. Israelis should at least entertain @YairGolan1's proposal. If it were up to me - and obviously, it isn't - Israelis would adopt it, too.
Golan calls for bloc to unite with Arab parties: ‘We have a majority of 65 seats. We must stop being afraid’

This REALLY doesn't resemble Apartheid, let alone a genocide. Theoretically - though highly unlikely - the Arab parties could be kingmakers.
My friend David Lapan and I write for @NationalSecJour that Trump's impulsive, ill-informed national security policies, from #Iran to #tariffs, have been a disaster for American families. He should lose the midterms but, more importantly, the American people should vote for people who will constrain the angry, confused bull in the china shop. nationalsecurityjournal.org/…

To everyone peddling the “Israel apartheid” lie, I have shocking (and inconvenient) news for you. Arab Israelis turned out to vote in extraordinary numbers today.
Exit polls give Arab-led parties 16–18 seats in Israel's parliament. For comparison, Netanyahu's Likud is projected to win around 25 seats.
For those still howling “apartheid,” let this sink in:
1️⃣ Arab citizens voted
2️⃣ There are Arab political parties
3️⃣ Arab leaders could play a decisive role in determining who forms Israel's next government

Alex Pretti's father: Our son was shot and killed by the government, federal immigration agents, on January 24th, 2026. We learned about his death from the media as we saw him being shot repeatedly in the back after helping a woman from his community. This was not a protest that Alex was at. His hands were in the air, and his face was on the ground when he was executed by ICE agents. We know exactly what our eyes saw. No one from the federal government called us on that day. But they did go on TV to tell lies about Alex. No one has called us since. No one has recanted those lies.

I think it’s mostly lame that MAGA and Fox types are trying to make the Saddam-Cheesecake Factory line into an outrage. But I think it’s hilarious that nearly all of them are offended on behalf of the Cheesecake Factory and not Trump. I haven’t heard anyone defend Trump’s interior design. The logic of their freakout is, “How dare you say the Cheesecake Factory looks like the Trump White House!? The Cheesecake Factory is awesome!”
Every revolution - particularly the ones that just argue and don’t actually accomplish anything - eventually eats its own. I’m just surprised @DemSocialists got there so fast.
The DSA National Political Committee has voted to unendorse and expel Nithya Raman
She has until October 31 to express clear direct support for BDS to retain endorsement, and until January 1 to condemn weapon shipments for Israel out of LAX to remain a member of DSA

Re: "that ad is about Israel, not Jews":
If there was an ad hammering on the idea that the reason you can't pay for your groceries is that we're spending too much on aid to Africa, I'm guessing few people left of center would have trouble seeing that as racist

I mean Cenk is dumb and a bigot. Everyone knows this. But this ad is dumb and bigoted at scale. It’s innumerate and morally obtuse and if anything remotely like it was aimed at Muslims he and his ilk would (defensibly) be outraged. But this shit is fine when aimed at the you know who.
New @RebellionPac ad dropping in Michigan. We have to suffer here at home, so Israel can get all its wars. That’s why they buy politicians like Mike Rogers. He promised to serve Israel “unconditionally,” but never made that promise to you.
