As such, it is no surprise that Mandarin hours in the curriculum will be cut under Madani watch.
Less Mandarin in sekolah Cina is fulfilment of the DAP’s ‘Anak Bangsa Malaysia’ promotion.
It’s a good idea that total hours of Mandarin lessons be reduced to reflect the decreasing number of Chinese students.
Correspondingly, it’s logical that the hours of bahasa Melayu & Sejarah lessons be expanded to reflect the increasing ratio of multiracial students in the popular SRJK(C)s.
Agama Islam classes must be boosted also to cater to the many Malay kids now studying in these schools.
DAP, in its energetic role in the Education Ministry, is doing an excellent job of diluting SRJK(C) Chineseness so that these schools reflect multikulti & diversity — which is our greatest strength.
As the largest component of the Unity Gomen, it is definitely DAP which must be congratulated for successfully making over these outdated pre-Merdeka institutions into the image of today’s Malaysia Baru.
And as the staunchest supporter of DAP, Dong Zong is to be commended for acquiescing to the vision of Bangsa Malaysia touted by Pakatan’s Politik Baru.

In your headline, you say that the woman “allegedly assaults 2 children”. You needed to qualify your report with “allegedly” b’cos we’ve not seen the footage as yet of her “hitting” the children, if any.
On the other hand, the viral 35s vid shows the man slapping the woman so hard across her face that she collapses. See clip ⤵️
Why do you fail to even mention that he appears to have ‘assaulted’ her?

Result: Her upper body (shoulder & head) jerks backwards & she staggers one step back, then another step.

0:05 She slaps him in the face & he immediately strikes back in what looks akin to a boxer move.
~0:06 A loud slapping sound is heard (so we might assume he threw a slap & not a punch) & the woman reacts by lifting her palm to touch her cheek.
He may or may not have pushed her with his left hand (not clear) but by 0:07, she’s out of video frame, i.e. has fallen to the floor.
Why do you Darry Tan ONLY mention her hitting him when the man hit the woman harder, and he took physical action first?
You say “he is defending himself”. Actually, ‘SHE’ is defending herself as he was the one taking steps in her direction.
It was he who first lashed out at her throat & we hear him+the tudung woman shouting at the woman right from the very start of 📹 recording.
You also claim “she assaulted his kids”. Can you point us to any footage of this? I’m not saying it didn’t happen.
I’m merely clarifying the certainty with which you make this assertion & possibly OP lawyer can help enlighten the public as to which section of the Penal Code applies — after you share any info wrt the form in which this “assault” (that you claim she inflicted on his kids) took place.
Did she appear to use criminal force? Did the kids suffer any injuries? Tell us.

Anthony Loke gave RM1,000 vouchers to 283 taxi & rental car drivers in Melaka last Monday.
Loke can do this b’cos he’s
still Transport Minister. Once he resigns from cabinet, he’ll not be able to distribute such gomen money, RM1k each, to public transport drivers.
DAP ministers pledge that they will quit to show their unhappiness with Najib receiving clemency but they don’t keep their word.
Loke remains indefinitely as Transport Minister. Also, Nga Kor Ming – who opposed Najib’s conditional pardon – is still in the cabinet although he too pledged that he’d quit if Najib’s punishment was reduced.
“Resign” is not in the DAP vocab. Earlier this year, delegates voted during the annual party conference to stick like glue to their Madani jobs.
