AK DOT tells me there have been 8 natural avalanches today, leaving Thane Road closure. The road was closed when the avalanche hit and there are no reported impacts.
When I visited the road closure, several cars and people were going through. DOT says there is still a high risk of more avalanches and nobody should go past the barricades.

The world is not safe with an Iran with relentless nuclear and terrorist ambitions, and an expanded ballistic missile inventory.
