A5) #EdChatAfterDark I would like to implement the 8-8-8 method. 8 hours of work learning and character development ( game reference, see what I did there 😉), 8 hours of family time and 8 hours of rest/recuperation.

A3) #EdChatAfterDark Our short-term goals should lead us to our major goal of qualifying for @FBLA_National and @skillsusafl. We've familiarized ourselves with industry leading technology like @UnrealEngine 5.4 and honed our side scroll and top down skills with @flowlabio.
A2) #EdChatAfterDark "Keep up the pace"! We have an awesome CTE department at WWHS. From a New Teacher Academy to Film Production, they are all redefining academic success. Game & Sim should be in step with the standard that has been set. #GetThere @EducationFL
A1) Personally it is to "lock-in". The neophyte stage of my new position in game design is over and I'm ready to produce some results. We have talented students, and I'm looking forward to having them enter state level competitions revolving around our curriculum.

Building a strong work ethic isn’t about what you will accomplish, but about what you do on a daily basis inspite of the reward #edchatafterdark We have to encourage Ss to not let off the gas, keep pushing for greatness and not accept mediocrity
Q5. How can we encourage students to finish strong despite the potential uncertainty of life after graduation? #EdChatAfterDark
I know @ThePrincetonRev was awesome for looking into Universities. I also used @ratemyprofessor and I know I like what I see with @mystudylife as well.
I’d say a lot of what we use in K12 @ChatGPTapp , @quizizz @quizlet @calm and @Headspace #edchatafterdark

This is inspiring! So many people outside of the education profession ask how we make it through. Being the person I had/needed at such a pivotal time makes it all worthwhile. #edchatafterdark
We have the ability in high school to walk them to the front door of life. "Real world" examples should be what we are doing all day every day. #edchatafterdark @realJearl @MrLeonard8

A4: Just from personal experience we all have FOMO over what could have been directly after high school. I went to college, but I often wonder if the business idea I wanted to pursue would have worked out. #edchatafterdark

I fully agree that the process begins before graduation year. I think planning and early preparation play a factor as well. The ride is smooth when all of the ducks are already in a row 🙌🙌
A1; I think it’s about relationships, how have we built the relationships with kids throughout the four years together, so that if they need help with a problem they feel comfortable asking questions and having a dialogue with their educator or supervisors #edchatafterdark
