What is the truth?
On October 14, 2026, the two people sentenced to death in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, were *Nazrul Islam Abdul Basir and Siti Akhtar* from Bangladesh, and they weren't even husband and wife.
According to Bangladeshi media, Nazrul had gone to Saudi Arabia in 2022 as a cleaner, and Siti was working there.
In May 2023, about 1 month before Hajj, both were allegedly caught by Saudi security forces inside a mosque in Mecca committing immoral acts.
After that, they spent more than 3 years in jail, the trial took place in Jeddah court, and upon being found guilty, by royal order, they were hanged in Mecca on October 14, 2026. Their bodies were sent to Bangladesh on October 18.
Why was the punishment so severe?
Every mosque in Mecca has its own sanctity; it is connected to our Prophet ﷺ.
Under Saudi Arabia's "Public Decency Law," such acts in a mosque are strictly prohibited, and violating the sanctity in a Mecca mosque makes the case extremely serious under "Ta'zir," which can carry the death penalty.
According to the Saudi Ministry of Interior, the charges against both of committing "fi'al al-fahisha" inside the mosque—that is, a serious sexual act of an obscene nature / adultery—were proven.
Bangladesh's State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaid Islam herself confirmed this on October 17.
So the question isn't where they were from; the question is—will you respect the purity of Allah's house or not?

"It is not enough if the house is clean without dirt; it is not enough if the clothes are kept clean; Our heart (mind) should be clean without any dirt.
The only way for achieving this is to worship the lotus feet of Parasakthi, the consort of Parameswaran. If we keep on worshipping HER lotus feet, all the dirt and filth will go away, our problems will evaporate and we will be completely full. It is Her ‘Leela’ only that we are born with all the dirt and anxieties. Therefore it is also Her job to remove the dirt and filth from us and make us perfect.
All these religions are necessary in order that we do not die like animals, that we leave our body with our heart and mind filled with happiness and peace and finally we do not take a rebirth. There is no other religion required than worship of and meditation on Ambal. That is the one which will fill our heart with peace and happiness and make us perfect.
If some of us become full and perfect by meditating on Ambal, our religion will grow by itself. There is no need for debates and preaching for the sake of the religion. Why am I telling you all this? Instead of doing ‘Upanyasam’ (lecture) like this, if I spend this time on meditation of Ambal, it will fetch more ‘Atma Kshemam’ (welfare of the soul) and welfare for the world. That helps in the fulfillment of mind than mere talks. But, I realize this truth when I sit here to talk to you. Therefore, it cleanses my mind as I keep talking. I am speaking about matters concerning religion in order that at least one among us will rise to the level of fulfillment of the soul.
The only way to find an end to all these talks regarding religion is to wipe out our deficiencies and become perfect. Everyone should perform his ‘Anushtanams’ (daily rituals) and get fulfillment—this is our religion. We have to obtain the necessary intelligence and power to perform them, by requesting Ambal.
When we try to meditate on Ambal and are unable to single mindedly involve in the process, we realize our deficiencies. That is also good in one way. We are able to pray to Her to remove these deficiencies. Whenever some deficiency creeps up in me, I pray Ambal and request Her so that I can be without that deficiency at least from then onwards.
If I have some faults, then my preaching to others is a show only; it is only that I am cheating you; if I get Ambal’s Anugraham fully and become perfect, then there is no need for this talk and advise. The power of blessing will give wisdom to others without speaking. Therefore, in both the situations there is no need for ‘Upanyasam’. If I spend all this time preaching and doing Upanyasam on meditating on Ambal, I will get even more ‘Atma Shanthi’ (peace of soul). If I devote the time spent on ‘Upanyasam’ on meditation (on HER), many of my deficiencies will be wiped out. If you devote the time you are spending now hearing all this, on meditating on AmbAl, you will also be rid of many of your sins. But the reason why I am speaking to you this way is my desire that ‘will not this speech encourage some among you to analyze all this within your mind, meditate on Ambal and attain fulfillment?’. Religion and experience of soul will not grow with preaching. Preaching and ‘Upanyasam’ will give temporary solace only.
In a life without peace of mind, it is good even if one gets a temporary peace of mind. I speak because you get that temporary relief. I speak because you will feel sad and disappointed if I do not.
But what is more necessary than this is to make this temporary state of mind a permanent one. The only way for this is meditating on Ambal’s lotus feet. For me Ambal is important. I am worshipping HER for the welfare of the world. All of you must worship HER.
There will not be any harm to our religion from other religions or Atheism. Harm will come only if we do not perform our ‘Anushtanams’. We are afflicted by diseases because of our body strength deteriorating. Same way, if we do not perform our ‘AnushtAnams’ properly and without fail, diseases like conversion and atheism will affect us.
No one will get into any harm, if we perform our ‘Anushtanams’ without fail, and meditate on Ambal’s lotus feet. The key for this is within us only. There is no need to perform great services and deeds. To start with, it is sufficient if we try not to commit any sins or wrongs. We should pray HER whenever we commit some wrong, cleanse our souls with Her Anugraham, get fulfillment of the soul step by step, and create fullness for our religion also. As our religion is common for the whole world, we can bring welfare to the people of all the countries.
The final objective of all religions is to attain liberation (Mukthi). Realizing the ultimate truth through experience is Mukthi. Vedhantham calls that ultimate truth as Brahmam. If we worship Ambal who is ‘GnAna Swaroopam’ of ‘Chitaakthi’ of Brahmam, we will also realize that we are that Truth.
Ambal who grants us the various worldly pleasures also grants us this wisdom in the end. We can liberate ourselves from the family bonds and attain Mukthi with HER Anugraham only.
All Ssstras and Stotras tell us that Worshipping Ambal will bring in the presence of wisdom and drive away the ignorance. We also know of many many great souls who had worshipped AmbAl and become wise men.
What We have to start is to meditate on the Lotus feet of Ambal. Little by little we will realize the taste of it. We will understand that there is nothing else other than HER lotus feet that is capable of giving us peace and tranquility. If we continue to meditate like this without stopping, in the end, even when this body leaves, we can become like nectar, by merging with the ever permanent wisdom.
Before trying to advise others and correct them, everyone should ensure that he does not commit any wrong. The only asylum for this is HER lotus feet. She has kept the key called meditation within us to easily remove the shortcomings in us. All of you must worship HER for the sake of your ‘Atma Kshemam’ (welfare of the soul) as well as ‘Loka Kshemam’ (Universal welfare). It is enough if everyone keeps doing this without stopping. No one will come to any harm; the entire universe will prosper."
