this is f**king gold every correction you give claude code disappears when the session ends. this skill turns them into permanent upgrades. task observer (rebelytics/one-skill-to-rule-them-all): → watches your claude code sessions as you work → captures your corrections and repeated workflows → flags what's worth turning into a reusable skill → your skill library improves itself the more you use it stop teaching your agent the same lesson twice. link below
THIS IS F**KING GOLD every ai-built ui looks the same. purple gradients, generic cards, same fonts. this fixes it. impeccable (pbakaus/impeccable): → gives claude code real design direction → steers output away from "ai slop" defaults → better typography, spacing, and color choices → works as a skill you install once stop shipping frontends that scream "made by ai." link below

Continuing down the list of top Skills mentioned on /r/claudeskills, task-observer caught my eye. It’s a “meta-skill” that watches your conversations and proposes new Skills or improvements to existing ones. Usually when I notice a workflow worth turning into a Skill, I’m already in the middle of doing something else. So I either interrupt the actual task to build it or forget about it. task-observer is supposed to solve that by capturing those moments in the background and bringing them up for review later. I tested it on a situation I’ve run into a bunch of times. I’ll ask an agent for feedback on something I wrote, and it will rewrite the entire draft in AI voice instead of helping me improve my version. Then I have to explain that I wanted targeted feedback, not a full rewrite. I made that correction once on a sample draft and kept going. task-observer logged the correction, and during the review it proposed a new voice-preserving-editor Skill based on what had happened. The review and installation process was a little more manual than I expected, but I approved the Skill and installed it. Then I started a fresh Codex session and asked for editing help without mentioning the new Skill at all. It automatically gave me targeted feedback instead of rewriting the whole thing. Really useful and clever and definitely one I will be using all the time going forward!

Stock Claude Code has 5 weak spots. It forgets your project. It stalls on rate limits. It burns tokens on log noise. It ships with zero hooks. And it never gets better at how you work. One open-source add-on fixes each one. Full setup guide:

Had an amazing time speaking at Claude Code Workshop - 3, Bhopal 🚀 Shared workflows around CLAUDE.md, SKILL.md, Task Observer, Ponytail & slash commands. Best part: seeing what everyone built. More building. More Claude. 🔶 #ClaudeCode

Instalar dezenas de skills no Claude Code só deixa ele lento e consome mais tokens. Depois de testar várias, limpei meu setup e só uso 4: Superpowers, Claude Mem, Impeccable e Task Observer. Menos é mais na produtividade com IA. #claudecode

Does this thing people are posting about, where mutuals see each other's posts again, actually work? If so, give me a sign. What are you up to these days?

Your AI skills should not stay frozen after you write them. task-observer is a meta-skill for people who use AI skills and want a systematic way to maintain them over time. It helps your skill library improve by watching work sessions, capturing corrections, gaps, and blind spots, then turning those into reviewable skill-update recommendations. Key features: • Session observation – watches work sessions for corrections, preferences, and repeated manual patterns • New skill candidates – flags gaps no current skill covers and drafts candidates automatically • Skill improvement suggestions – produces specific updates for existing skills instead of editing them directly • Structured review flow – logs what it noticed, affected skills, and suggested changes for review • Cross-cutting principles – captures patterns that apply across multiple skills and checks future updates against them It’s open-source (CC BY 4.0 license). Thanks to Claude, I can now do 1 hour of work in 10 minutes and then spend the other 50 minutes trying to automate a 5-minute task and failing.
