Day 144 from broke to successful editor

Chill but productive day.
Learned new systems, talked with potential clients, and started my VAT registration.
My X Premium expired, so I have to keep these posts shorter for now.
Good night.

Mood: Exhausted but happy
Today I worked a lot, and saying I'm tired would be an understatement.
I think I worked for over 12 hours in total.
I had to make a really important short for a new client, and I gave it everything I had.
This time I worked on IRL content, specifically sports-related, and I honestly had so much fun editing it.
That's probably why I managed to work for so many hours.
The client is also really happy with the final result. He said it's perfect, maybe the music was a little too loud, but even that might be fine.
The crazy thing is that these 12 hours felt shorter than some days when I spent just 6 hours editing a documentary.
Besides that, I didn't manage to be active here on X today.
Tomorrow I'll try to be more active, since I'll probably spend most of the day focusing on outreach.
I'm also really happy that new potential clients are coming in.
I have some subscriptions to pay for, and I was honestly a little anxious about not being able to afford them.
But this week has been going great.
Always remember to build good systems that consistently bring you clients, because that's one of the best ways to grow.
You don't need thousands of followers or to be the most skilled editor out there.
You need organization, good systems, creativity, and of course, to put yourself out there.
Good night everyone.

Mood: Happy but a bit stressed
I haven't posted this format in a few days, but now I'm finally back.
I don't know how consistent I'll be because I have a lot going on during the day right now.
I've landed new clients, and I'm still looking for more.
These days I've been really focused on editing.
I also haven't slept much lately, and tonight won't be any different because I want to be locked in tomorrow morning to work on a short.
And don't worry about the Editors Champions League, we have all the editors we need now.
We'll soon start asking everyone to submit their actual edits.
Besides that, I'm happy that I'm landing new clients because it means my system is working.
At the same time, I'm a bit stressed because these are new clients, and the collaborations aren't completely stable yet.
But I'll do my best to turn them into long-term relationships.
Tonight I'll chill a little and watch a movie, but tomorrow morning I have to wake up early and work on a video.
Good night everyone.

Today I worked on outreach and built a huge mapboard for tomorrow.
I'm exhausted, but I'm happy with the progress I made today.
Tomorrow I'll record several pieces of content for Instagram and see what else I can get done.
I don't have much else to say, to be honest.
I've been spending a lot of days at home and haven't been going out much. I can't wait to fully recover and start doing more things again.
Good night everyone.
π ONE SPOT LEFT. THEN WE START.
We're now at 23/24 editors in the Editors Champions League.
Once we find our final editor, we'll kick things off and start looking for creators to collaborate with, giving you the opportunity to showcase your work and potentially get noticed by future clients.
The competition is almost ready.

Today I was active here on X, did a lot of outreach, and learned a script that I'll need the day after tomorrow.
It was a good day, and it also means I'll have a lot of work to do tomorrow.
Slowly, I'm starting to address the problem of not having enough clients by consistently doing more outreach.
I'm putting in a lot of effort, constantly trying new systems that could work for me. And whenever I feel discouraged, I try to work harder to get myself back on track.
I never thought I'd find myself in this situation again.
At the same time, though, I'm not wasting time on clients I wouldn't want to work with just to make things easier.
That might be the easier option, but it would also limit me.
I've always hated limitations. For example, having to renegotiate my prices is something I dislike because, to me, it almost feels like a lack of respect.
Yes, my standards are high.
But I'll reach them, and I'll know I made the right choice.
Good night everyone.

Mood: Good
Today I did another outreach using my mapboard, and the potential client told me he'll check it out.
I was also active here on X, managed a few things, and studied a script tonight that will be useful to me in the future.
My outreach system keeps improving, and that's a really good sign. I need to keep going.
Overall, it was a good day.
It didn't start that way, though. I woke up very late, didn't really feel like working, and was feeling a little sad.
But we got it done.
Not every day is going to be a good one, but the emotions you experience exist for a reason.
So whenever you feel them, remember that even the unpleasant ones can serve a purpose and make you feel alive.
Every emotion that doesn't come from illness can be a good thing in its own way.
All the difficult moments I've experienced lately because of my thyroid, or earlier because of financial instability, which still causes me problems today, are part of the game.
They're shaping the person I'll become in the future.
You're not falling behind because you're still experiencing these things.
You're moving forward because you have the opportunity to live through them and learn from them.
Even when these experiences make you feel sad, they remind you that you're alive, that you're changing, and that you're not standing still.
Good night everyone.

Mood: Frustrated
Today I spent most of my time working on one outreach because I'm now using a mapboard to make my outreach more professional and clear.
The first few attempts with a new system are always the hardest, but I'm sure I'll get faster as I get used to it.
Tomorrow I'll work on more outreach and stay active here on X by replying to people.
Unfortunately, I also had a small setback with my thyroid today, so I couldn't work as well as I wanted to.
Still, I kept going.
When I work less than usual for several days in a row, I start feeling bad about myself because I want to reach my goals as quickly as possible.
On top of that, I have several subscriptions to pay for this month and next month, so I need to make things happen.
Good night everyone.

I didn't do much today because I went for a run this morning after getting only two hours of sleep.
After the run, I went to my aunt's house and spent some time there before eventually falling asleep.
It was a good day for both my mental and physical health.
The run made me feel good, but I need to find a better balance because I was exhausted in the afternoon and couldn't work properly.
Still, I learned a few more important things today.
Tomorrow, my main focus will be outreach. I'll also try to wake up earlier than usual, but not too early.
Good night everyone.

Mood: Good
Today I posted my new video breakdown, worked on new outreach, and made progress on the Editors Champions League format.
I was also active here on X, writing replies and engaging with people.
It was a pretty chill day, and I enjoyed it.
I've also noticed that I genuinely enjoy making breakdowns and, in general, all the different formats I'm creating for this profile.
Tomorrow I'll start my day with a morning run. Hopefully, I'll wake up in time because I'm still not used to getting up early.
Starting next week, I'll be getting back into a proper health routine, and the week after that, I'll return to the gym.
Things are finally going well again, but I'm staying focused on editing because I want to make my dreams come true.
Good night everyone.

Mood: Happy
Today I didn't do much because it was my sister's birthday.
Still, I recorded the video breakdown that will be coming out tomorrow and spent some time being active here on X.
As for the Editors Champions League, we're now at 18 participants. We might reduce the target from 36 to 24 because reaching 36 is proving difficult.
Other than that, I had a really good time today, and I'm finally feeling good again.
I'd say I've almost fully recovered from my thyroid issues.
On Monday morning, I'll start running again because I want to build a solid routine. The Monday after that, I'll also return to the gym.
Things are coming back, and just as I expected, they're coming back even better.
My feelings, my confidence, and so much more are finally returning.
I've realized that I should never settle, because there's always more I can achieve.
Good night everyone.

Mood: Focused
Today I was active here on X, wrote the script for my second video breakdown, which will be posted tomorrow, and recorded an outreach Loom.
Unfortunately, I've been waking up late these past few days. I need to fix that starting tomorrow.
I need to work more and send out more outreach because my goal this month is to land a high-paying client.
Other than that, we keep moving forward.
The Editors Champions League is slowly taking shape, with new ideas coming in. I have to say, I'm enjoying the competition more and more.
I'm also getting more interested in watching film analyses and analyzing movies myself. On top of that, I'm watching some absolute masterpieces, like Psycho.
Good night everyone.
π THE EDITORS CHAMPIONS LEAGUE IS HERE.
An idea inspired by the Champions League, but with one big difference:
Instead of football players, 36 editors will compete against each other.
16/36 EDITORS HAVE JOINED. 20 SPOTS LEFT.
Submit your best work, survive every stage and try to become the first-ever Editors Champions League Champion.
π₯ The winner will receive a β¬50 Amazon gift card.
It will be a test to see if this format can become something much bigger.
READ CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING:
β The competition will consist of 36 editors.
β If we receive more than 36 applications, there will be preliminary playoffs to determine who makes it into the competition.
β This is a 1v1 competition.
β For every stage, I will randomly draw the matchups by mixing all the participating editors' names. The first two names drawn will face each other.
ποΈ LEAGUE PHASE
Every editor will play 8 matches.
Win = 3 points
Draw = 1 point
Loss = 0 points
At the end:
1stβ8th β Directly to the Round of 16
9thβ24th β Playoffs
25thβ36th β Eliminated
βοΈ KNOCKOUT STAGE
Playoffs: max. 15 seconds
Round of 16: max. 20 seconds
Quarter-finals: max. 30 seconds
Semi-finals: max. 1 minute
Final: max. 2 minutes
If a knockout match ends in a draw, there will be a rematch with a new edit until there is a winner.
π¬ HOW TO PARTICIPATE
You do not need to create a new edit specifically for the competition.
You can submit an edit you have already created for a client in the past.
When your match takes place, simply post your edit in the comments of the matchup post.
Then, two different judgments will come into play:
π₯ Community: People in the comments will vote for which edit they think deserves to win.
π€ Our judgment: Me, Mustafa and Abdou will analyze both edits and give our verdict.
The final decision will take both the community vote and our evaluation into account.
The goal isn't to win because you have the most followers.
It's to prove you're the best editor in the match.
36 EDITORS.
8 MATCHES.
ONE TROPHY.
Who will become the first-ever Editors Champions League Champion?

Gym: β (sick)
Mood: Determined
Today I wasn't very active here on X because the Loom I recorded and posted took me several hours to finish.
But until I find new clients, I'll keep making more of them.
Unfortunately, I was busy with something important on my computer this evening, so I couldn't get more work done.
Not the best day, but we keep producing.
Other than that, everything is fine.
I don't have much to say because I spend most of my days at home due to my thyroid issues, and there's still a lot of work to do.
This month, I want to reach a solid income, so I need to keep pushing.
Good night everyone.
