We're being led by an increasingly needy, increasingly panicky, and increasingly ill idiot. He's ignorant, compromised, pathologically askew, old, and in decline. He is transactional, without vision or expertise, purely a creature of TV - and the worst TV at that. He only sees a zero-sum game, unable to understand humanity, moderation, compromise, or a greater good. He cares about professing and reclaiming his grandiosity, supremacy, omnipotence, legacy, and air of legitimacy. He cares about protecting his heinous secrets and lies, covering up his crimes, suppressing his deep feelings of illegitimacy, and doing whatever distraction and deflection is necessary to avoid humiliation. But THAT'S IT. That's ALL he cares about. He, his craving for grandiosity, and his fear of humiliation, comprise his entire universe. Everything else is an afterthought, an appendage - some useful to him, some not. He is dark. Deluded. Demented. A detriment to everything ... and to all things.
