And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one anotherβ€”and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10: 24

GOOD DAY, MR PRESIDENT: NIGERIANS DESERVE ACCOUNTABILITY Good day, Mr President. I congratulate you on spending a night in one of Nigeria’s states outside Lagos and Abuja. I hope you enjoyed the warmth, hospitality, and delicious cuisine of Akwa Ibom, which I am sure is even better than those of the destinations where you have spent over 260 days outside Nigeria since coming into office. I sincerely hope this visit will inspire you to travel to the remaining 33 states of the federation, spend time with the people and, more importantly, explain what your administration has done with the ₦15.8 trillion saved from the removal of fuel subsidy, the over $100 billion you have borrowed, the increased revenues accruing to the government from taxing Nigerians, and the additional government revenues which your administration celebrated last year as having surpassed its target. Nigerians deserve to know how many that were pulled out of poverty within this period, how many out-of-school children were returned to school, and how many functional primary healthcare centres you have built. They also deserve to know how much electricity supply has improved, especially given your promise that if you do not fix power, Nigerians should not vote for you. They deserve an explanation of how you have secured the country, which still ranks among the most terrorised countries in the world. Mr President, Nigerians deserve answers. They deserve to know what has been done with the resources entrusted to your government. The New Nigeria we want to build will be based on accountability, transparency, and the physical, measurable impact of our public resources on the lives of citizens. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

You are lying. I am Hausa, and even today I listened to Peter Obi's speech, and I even quoted one impressive part. Peter Obi is more competent than your paymaster, who cannot stand for 15 minutes.
The only reason a sane person would listen to Peter Obi speak and vote for him is because he is Igbo. It has nothing to do with competence.

Since I woke up this morning, I've taken my time to go through the comments, quotes, and advice people have shared. Trust me, I'm going to take every single piece of advice seriously. However, there's one advice I will not take, and that's people telling me to stay away from politics and focus solely on my business. I think I responded to someone's comment suggesting that we should vote for Peter Obi, and I noticed that quite a number of people dragged me for it. But honestly, why should I be told not to talk about politics and just concentrate on my business? Who do you think put me in the situation I'm currently in? Is it not the government? I shouldn't talk about politics, but politics is talking about me. Do you understand how badly government policies have affected my business and my livelihood? I'm genuinely grateful to everyone who came through for me, but the truth is, I'm still going to bear losses. And who created the economic conditions that contributed to those losses? The government. Let me also address those who believe I made a financial mistake by opening the shop in the first place. Yes, perhaps there were things I could have done differently, but let me give you some context. My shop is strategically located between two major universities in Port Harcourt: the University of Science and Technology (UST) and Ignatius Ajuru University. These institutions have thousands of students. Do you honestly think these students don't want cookies? Why do you think I chose that location in the first place? The idea was simple: students from both universities would make up a significant part of my customer base. Interestingly, since this whole support campaign started, a good number of the people who have shown up to support me are students from these same universities. They have always been my target audience. But the problem is that the economy has destroyed their purchasing power. These students, who ordinarily would patronise my business, are now more concerned about paying school fees, feeding themselves, and meeting their basic needs. And somehow, I'm being told not to talk about politics? You're telling me to focus on my business, post my products, and leave politics alone. But why can't I do both? Why can't I promote my business and also speak about the political leadership and candidate I believe can bring about the change we desperately need? Why shouldn't I advocate for someone I believe can help change the circumstances that have made running a small business this difficult? I was fortunate that my situation gained attention and people rallied around me. But what happens the next time? Will I have to depend on a viral post before I can make meaningful sales? Is that how a business should survive? Absolutely not. I appreciate every single person who has supported me, advised me, encouraged me, and shown me love. I will take the business advice, learn from my mistakes, and make better decisions going forward. But please, don't tell me to stop talking about politics. The economy is affecting my business. Government policies are affecting my customers. The political decisions being made in this country have direct consequences on my livelihood. I cannot separate my business struggles from the politics and economic realities that contribute to them. I have every right to speak about both. PLEASE VOTE PETER OBI!!! ✌️
Please, I've got cookies in my shop that's close to expiration so I've put them for sale at 50% discount I've already lost two cartons to the same issue, there's been no sales If you're in port Harcourt I'd really appreciate if you patronise me They cost 3600 but now 1800 πŸ™

I saw that accident seven minutes after 12 and it was crazy. I can practically tell you the injuries of every persons. There’s a particular woman naked with her head smashed on the floor. I can’t take that scene from my head. The accident didn’t happen 12:18, and rescue
Adekunle Afod’s account of this incident is false and misleading. It is unfortunate that you have chosen to sensationalise such a sensitive development for political attention, especially when people’s lives and well-being are at stake. Rather than recording the affected individual and circulating his video on social media for needless traction, you could have offered assistance. I urge you to read the attached screenshots, which contain an eyewitness account of what actually transpired, before drawing conclusions or spreading misleading information. People’s lives should never be used as tools for political point-scoring.

We commenced our campaign tour of Umunneochi LGA with a visit to the palace of HRM Eze Ifeanyi Eke, Udumeze III, at Amaeke-Uru, Lokpanta, where we were warmly received by members of the Traditional Rulers Council led by HRM Eze Franklin Ohalezim, Ezema III of Lokpanta Ancient Kingdom. I thanked our royal fathers for their reception, prayers and support. They commended our developmental strides and made requests for further interventions, which I assured them would receive attention. We proceeded to Peace Secondary School field, Isuochi, for our Labour Party campaign rally, where party faithful, political leaders and supporters turned out in large numbers. I urged the people to obtain their PVCs, mobilise support for all Labour Party candidates in 2027 and protect their votes. Our guiding principle remains one man, one vote. I also appreciated their consistent support since 2015. In three years and five months, we have operationalised 12 of 18 Primary Healthcare Centres, retrofitted schools, commenced a Smart School and embarked on a General Hospital. The 11.27km Mbala-Umuaku-Ngodo Ring Road is nearing completion, while the Mmam Bridge is at the design stage. We remain committed to restoring lasting security. Although more work remains, we will not disappoint our people. As I told the gathering, "Instead of saying something and not doing it, we do what we did not say." Our commitment is to deliver results, not empty promises. We welcomed new members and political leaders into the Labour Party, assuring them of fairness, inclusiveness and equal treatment. I encouraged our supporters to vote for all Labour Party candidates across the three tiers of representation: β€’ Chief David Ogba Onuoha (Bourdex) – Senate, Abia North. β€’ Hon. Amobi Ogah – House of Representatives, Isuikwuato/Umunneochi. β€’ Hon. Mathias Ume Nwachi – Abia State House of Assembly, Umunneochi. I thank the Mayor of Umunneochi LGA, Mr. Sunny Afurobi, the various support groups, stakeholders and our campaign team for the excellent organisation and warm reception. To Ndα»‹ Umunneochi, thank you for your continued support. Together, we have made progress, and together, we will accomplish even more.

Good morning all, I’ll keep saying thank you because you people have come through in ways I never imagined. My phone is still buzzing with alerts, I am super gratefulπŸ™ May the universe be kind to you and all your loved ones. Below is the total amount that have been gotten so far, a total of 5.5m and still counting. The 1m is not reflecting in my account yet cos it was restricted for some reason, I’m still trying to sort that out. Also, my Wema bank have been refusing some credit alert. Please below is my Moniepoint account Alumona Nancy Chidinma 6578948406 Moniepoint MFB I have 1.5m more to go. Thank you very very much May the good lord in his infinite mercy show up for you.
Hi Everyone, please I need your help. I’ve battled Keloid since I was 2 as a result of the first ear piercing which was done at birth and was done wrongly. My parents have gone through several options given to them and it keeps reoccurring. I’ve done several surgical removal that I can’t even keep count both in general hospitals and private hospitals and they always finish up with kenalog as usual, I did cryotherapy for 2years with a popular Bumps clinic and the pain from the procedure almost paralyzed the left part of my body as it became weaker and I couldn’t use it, still it resurfaced. Since 2015 I’ve been in and out of the hospital over this keloid, one general hospital suggested removing the whole ear which might cause another issue as it could still grow again. I’ve been going through excruciating pains, every single day of my life I’m in pains, I’ve been popping painkillers like who’s taking candy, I barely sleep at night Most days I’m awake till morning, once it’s night I get scared cos the pains becomes unbearable. Sometimes I take sleeping pills just to get through the night. I can’t go out, I can’t even show up for my business, my parents and siblings have had to give up their finances every single year because of me. Last year November, my sister single-handedly took care of the bills for the procedure I did. At some point the Keloid started to accumulate abscess, it becomes so much that I’ve had to go through drainage process, I did one last year as well. And all of these have made the keloid very aggressive and it grows faster by the day, the last removal procedure I did was in April of last year, the growth you’re seeing in frame 1 is just 1year and 7months growth which is unusually fast. Since I finished my service year I’ve been at home because I couldn’t work with this condition, I even had to let go of a few job opportunities I was recommended for with the hope of getting this done before I fully commit. A doctor I met recommended LASUTH earlier this year and since May I’ve been trying to get booked for surgery, initially I was booked for surgery but I wasn’t told everything it entailed, my first surgery date was September 11th and it was moved later on due to the strike. I was opportuned to secure a consultation again with the Burns and Plastic unit (BPSU) yesterday in LASUTH and the consultant put me through everything I needed for the keloid to not reoccur. He said I needed at least 2 Radiotherapy sessions of which one has to be done exactly 24hrs after the surgical removal and then another few weeks after. After which I have to undergo chemotherapy and then post op care which includes injections, drugs, silicone creams, and any other recommended care. The Radiotherapy is to be done in LUTH (I was given a reference letter for it) after making enquiries in LUTH, the estimate of one radiotherapy session was given at 2.5m, and I’ll be needing 2sessions which sums up to 5m. Then the surgery for the removal of the Keloid costs 1.2m and I’ve been able to come up with that. Then after the surgery I’m to undergo chemotherapy and post op care but I have not been told how much that would cost, so I am unsure of the entire cost of that but the estimation according to what I’ve researched is about 2m. LASUTH have given me November 19th for my next and last consultation before the removal and this simply means I have to come up with the money for everything before then. So in total what will be needed for the successful surgery and post op care is 8.2m of which I’ve already raised 1.2m and I’m left to source for 7m before the 19th of November. This was really really hard for me to do as I have never done this before but this is my last resort as I have exhausted all my options and I have spent more than 6months alone trying to get booked with LASUTH. Please help me get my life back together πŸ™ Any amount will go a long wayπŸ™ 0427940035 Nancy Chidinma Wema Bank

Nigeria’s university admission system needs an URGENT RESET! UNN, UNIZIK and FUNAI. The allegations of corruption surrounding admission into Medicine at these universities are deeply disturbing. It has become so bad that merit appears to mean absolutely NOTHING anymore! Students work tirelessly, score exceptionally well in JAMB, and still face a system where money and connections allegedly determine who gets admitted. Even worse, there are serious questions about how universities handle admissions after exceeding their approved JAMB quotas, leaving deserving students frustrated and stranded. When did gaining admission to study Medicine become a business for the highest bidder? We cannot continue destroying the dreams of our brightest children and expect Nigeria to have a future. This system needs to be investigated, exposed and completely overhauled. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Jasir Residence sits in Valanchery, in Kerala’s Malappuram district, built for a family that needed a home to work with monsoon weather, not against it. Muhammed Fazil and Muhammed Faris of Cognition Design Studio designed the 2,800 square foot home for owners Muhammed Jasir and Nafeesa on a narrow, linear plot. Kerala’s climate doesn’t forgive buildings that ignore it, heavy monsoon rain, high humidity, and warm temperatures year round. So the roofline does the heavy lifting. Steep, overlapping pitched roofs shed rain fast and shade the walls beneath them. A detached carport with its own pitched roof sits slightly apart from the main house, absorbing the entrance without crowding the living spaces. Deep verandas wrap the ground floor, keeping direct sun and driving rain off the walls while still letting air move freely through the rooms. The palette stays simple, white walls with cement textured accents, so the architecture doesn’t compete with the roofline actually doing the climate work. No imported flat roof struggling against six months of monsoon. No sealed glass box demanding a generator to stay livable. Just a shape built to answer the weather it lives in. Kerala figured out generations ago that a house has to answer to its climate before it answers to trend. Why do so many new homes on this continent still get designed like they belong somewhere colder and drier? Location: Valanchery, Kerala, India. Architects: Cognition Design Studio (Ar. Muhammed Fazil, Ar. Muhammed Faris). Photography: Turtle Arts Photography.
Kerala has some of the best documented residential architecture. I have proof.

Yesterday, I received over sixty retired police officers from Bayelsa West Senatorial District who paid me a courtesy visit at my country home in Toru-Orua. During the engagement, I thanked them for their prayers and support and assured them that an NDC-led Federal Government would work towards abolishing the contributory pension scheme for police officers as part of efforts to address the challenges they face upon retirement and guarantee them a more dignified post-service life. The retired officers expressed their confidence in the vision of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and pledged their support for the party and all its candidates, from the presidential to the State House of Assembly elections in Bayelsa State. I also received elders and political stakeholders from Peretorugbene Community in Ekeremor Local Government Area, who visited to appreciate my contributions to nation-building. I thanked them for their continued support and prayers over the years and encouraged them to sustain unity, promote peaceful coexistence and ensure that no individual or group undermines the peace of their community. I further urged them to work towards conducting violence-free elections, devoid of abusive language, intimidation and other forms of electoral misconduct, while upholding the democratic principle of one man, one vote. Similarly, I received the directors of the various NGOs affiliated with the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), who came to identify with me and the vision we are building for a better Nigeria. I appreciate their decision to identify with the NDC and commend their commitment to contributing to the development of our state and country. I reminded them that non-governmental organisations play vital roles in community development, advocacy, humanitarian services and the promotion of good governance. Sustainable development cannot be achieved by government or political institutions alone; it requires the active participation of citizens, civil society groups and community-based organisations. As a political platform, the NDC believes in inclusiveness, equal opportunities, social justice and people-oriented leadership. We recognise the important role NGOs play in strengthening communities, empowering vulnerable groups and holding institutions accountable. I therefore encouraged them to remain committed to their respective mandates, build strategic partnerships that advance the common good and continue to serve as credible voices for the people. Together, we can build a society where every citizen has a sense of belonging and where development translates into meaningful improvements in the lives of our people. It is NDC all the way! β€” HSD
