Breaking news: Rolex debuts the brand new Perpetual Padellone, bringing back the moon phase alongside instantaneous complete annual calendar functionality.

Drawing on the legendary reference 8171 “Padellone” produced from the late 1940s into the early 1950s, the new watches pays tribute to the brand’s legacy, while looking toward its future. Housed in a 39mm case and offered in Everose gold and platinum, this isn’t just one of the most elegant Rolex pieces to date, but one that introduces a suite of new mechanical innovations.
Packed with instantaneous complete annual calendar and moonphase the new automatic Calibre 7190 within builds on recent technologies, including a Syloxi hairspring and the Dynapulse escapement introduced with the Land-Dweller, while adding the new patented Haplos annual-calendar system. The new line is kicking off with three distinct configurations, including one with a matching Settimo bracelet in Everose Gold for the first time.
